Review

"At the heart of this book is the love story of how Conar and Liza finally come together, which will satisfy romance fans. The ending hints at things to come and leaves the reader anxious for the next book!" -- Bookbug on the Web

"I was pleased to see that there are going to be many more books in The WindLegends Saga. I've gotten a lot more visits to my pages since including her passages. There are a lot of fantasy romance fans out there, Charlee. The future looks very bright for you and I'll be cheering you on all the way!" -- O'Malley's Bookshelf

"Just finished Keeper of the Wind! Boy, was it good. Honestly, I really enjoyed it. Now I want more..........." -- SALGUIRE@trentu.ca

"The Keeper of the Wind is a quick moving novel of love and emotional growth in another time and place. Charlotte Boyett-Compo has a witty way with words and these are fun characters who trade wisecracks like professional comedians. The story was mostly dialogue driven and the author's ability to maintain the reader's interest speaks of a true writing talent. It would be hard to read this book and not love the characters. I think even those readers who do not normally pick up Fantasy stories would enjoy this book. The plot moves fast, bringing the story to an end before a reader is ready to say goodbye to the characters. Lucky for the readers, however, is the fact that the end leaves plenty of hints that these characters will be back in another book!" -- Writer's Club Romance Group on AOL Reviewer Board

"Yours is a winner! I liked it a lot and I am sure as people find out about it, they will want more, like I do now." -- The Net-Banshee

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a really sexy novel, March 15, 1998

This review is from: Keeper of the Wind (Mass Market Paperback)
A friend recommended this novel to me and from the very first paragraph I was hooked. Not many stories open up with action right off the getgo, but this one did and it was unrelenting the entire time....not a drag in the entire book. The lovers are believable, likeable and like another of these reviews states: they don't insult your intelligence with the girl getting into trouble and having to get extracted by the hero every time you turned around! I liked this book; I loved the characters and can't wait to read more about them; and I laughed, cried, and snarled in all the places the author surely intended for me to laugh, cry and snarl! Hurry up with the next one in the series. Conar and Liza are the best hero and heroine to come along in a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, a romance that doesn't insult your intelligence!!!, January 26, 1998

This review is from: Keeper of the Wind (Mass Market Paperback)
I have been a romance novel reader for over twenty years and this novel has to be in the top ten percent of the ones I've enjoyed. The characters fairly leap off the page at you and I think the hero has got to be the most well-written, believable and sensual male in the romance genre. Since this is a nine part series, I know there will be more of Conar and Liza to read about. Just knowing that, makes having finished The Keeper of The Wind just a little less traumatic! Yes, sir! Bring on the sequels! If they are even a third as good as the first one, Boyett-Compo has a hit on her hands!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait for the next!! A real page turner!!, August 7, 1997

Excellant writer! The author blends the old language with just enough of the modern to make you think life and people have always been as it was in the old times. She gives you just enough information to make you hunger for more. Read faster, ask yourself more questions. Just when you think you have it figured out - wham - fooled you again. Just excellant!! Bring on part 2
