I got the book the other day because I've been wanting to work some more exercise into our lives and get my seven-year-old to be more active so she's a healthier adult. This is just the game plan I needed to do that. Len has doable suggestions for ways to work exercise into the day, tips on eating habits and sleep and age-related guidelines for all three areas. There are examples of warm ups, stretches and cool downs and the proper way to do them to help protect from injury.

What a wonderful tool to help grow a child! Thanks for the great book, Len, I can't wait to get my daughter started on a healthier road!

This was the exact book I have been looking for. Other books have such difficult terminology in them, and I really appreciate the simple language in this book, so "us" non professionals can follow it! I had met the author last year at a covention, and he has a genuine passion for helping children stay healthy. His book is well written, and full of great information. The sample menus and healthy snacks are great, and all the book topics helped my children in all areas, whether getting proper sleep, hydration, exercise, and nutrition. A must book for any parent! This book is not for obese children, but for all types of children.
