This is a great book for anyone that wants to raise quail for hobby. It lacked information for those that would like to raise quail for eggs and meat. I would still reccomend it however due to a lack of other books covering the subject.

Hi,
I just started with quails and got the book for more info,I got general information but not specific important information for beginners like me. I feel it was ok but I still keep wondering why they don't lay eggs,or if they can eat insects,or how to know if they are old or young...anyway...I feel I need mroe info

I adopted a few quail several months ago & it's been a struggle to find general information regarding husbantry. There aren't many books about keeping quail as pets, only breeding them. This book was helpful to me in areas of nutrition & housing information which I haven't found anywhere else.
