More About the Author

Internationally published author and poet, I'm now a displaced Southerner from northwest Florida. Kansas City, Missouri is currently my home with my husband and three dogs.
I love to write but hate chasing publishers and editors. The first one tied my hands for a year with a promise and a smile. So in retaliation, my husband and I began Charlie Dawg Press and are publishing for the general market. It's great fun; we're able to help other good authors get their work formatted, edited and into print. We're an indie press and a POD.

All my books and contributions to anthologies are available on Amazon.com in print and Kindle e book. Visit my website at DebKemper.com.
I love a good story!

Deb Kemper has brought to the readers a story about a woman, Katrina, experienced in life through many seasons of living. A widow, she meets Harley driving Cam, her mother's contractor and a former Top Gun Naval pilot. The story is filled with twists and turns surprising you as Kemper brings in fears of rejection, drug running, anti-Semitic villains, a few technology surprises and children from a former marriage who aren't too sure of mom remarrying. Although I wished for a different ending, I enjoyed the reading journey and would recommend this book as a purposeful romance.

Keeping Reggie's Widow is an action packed story of love in the midst of senseless hatred. With Kate's Anti-Semitic pursuers around every corner and Cam's ex-wife's death as a skeleton in his closet, the newlyweds' marital bliss was like a beautiful dream gone sour. Cam's marriage vow to love Kate, to comfort her, honor and keep her . . . so long as they both shall live . . . was tested to the max. It kept me turning the pages!

Seventy-five percent of the way into a really good story, the whole left margin scrunched in, and made it difficult to figure out some of the words.
I took off a star for that
I really recommend this book, otherwise!!!
