When Hyacinth and Richard begin their weekend at an English golf resort, they have their priorities straight: He wants to dodge a golf game and she wants softer towels in the bathroom. But all that changes in "Golfing with the Major" when it turns out that one-half of the amorously noisy couple in a nearby room is Hyacinth's sister, Rose. Ever on the prowl to socially one-up her neighbors, Hyacinth plots to make a big show of the delivery of her new furniture in "Three-Piece Suite." But bad timing and a traffic accident lead to the most ironic backfire possible. In the finale of the three BBC 28-minute episodes, "Picnic for Daddy," Hyacinth makes plans to take her demented father on a formal outing while deluding herself that sister Rose is dating a member of a prominent family. I am normally used to watching sitcoms like Seinfeld and Friends but after being introduced to this show in London where it is a big thing I found myself watching it every time it's on. You must buy this if you think you like farcical sitcoms or if you have seen the show before.

This is a great show about someone name of Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet by herself) who is obsessed with climbing the social standings within her community, but she always messes up. I love this show because I know someone like this and I can't help but laugh at it.

I can't say anything other than this a side splittingly funny show, that deserves all the attention it has recently been getting in America. A must see.
