One of the Greatest Brit Coms!!,

Hyacinth Bucket is one of my all time favorite characters. This video is worth the price just to see the part where Hyacinth and Onslow dance on the QEII, but you get much more hilarity for your money. Highly recommended!!!

If you love to laugh, and enjoy the "english" comdies, this is a must see. I guarentee, it will have your sides bursting, or so you think!

Poor Hyacinth Bucket (played by Patricia Routledge), pronounced "Bouquet," is on an eternal quest to keep up appearances. Forever scheming ways to be thought richer and more important than she is, she's a terror to her husband Richard (Clive Swift), her family, her neighbors, and just about everyone she comes into contact with! Sadly for her, but fortunately for us, her schemes and plans always end in uproarious disaster. These are the adventures of Hyacinth Bucket, forever keeping up appearances! My family and I are great fans of British comedy, and there are few anywhere near as good as Keeping Up Appearances! Patricia Routledge is one of Britain's comedic geniuses, and she plays Hyacinth beautifully. My kids sometimes get indignant at Hyacinth's many attempts at one-upmanship, but you always know that at the end, her sins will find her out. This is a great Britcom, one that I highly recommend to all fans of good comedy! This particular tape has two episodes on it: Sea Fever - Season 4, One-hour special (December 26, 1993) - Hyacinth has finally gotten her dream of cruising on the QE2, just like the starlets of old. But, when her attempts to find a superior path to the docks land her and Richard far-off the beaten path, it's she who ends up with mud in her eye. Also, finally catching up with the QE2 is not the end of her adventures; there's someone on board that shouldn't be, and Hyacinth needs to figure out what's going on! Hyacinth Tees Off - Season 2, episode 4 (September 22, 1991) - When Hyacinth spots a prestigious job opening that would be perfect for Richard, she sets out to make him management material - whether he wants to be or not. But nothing goes too easy for Hyacinth, especially when her daddy becomes a naturist, a stark-naturist!

If you only ever own just one Keeping up appearances tape, make it this one! This tape contains the number one (in my humble opinion) episode of all time....The QE11 Special episode. This one holds a special place in my heart as I used to work on board this ship. I received a letter from Geoffrey Hughes (Onslow), in which he said that this episode was the favorite of the cast as they actually got to travel up the coast of Norway on board the ship. This episode is an hour long special and will have you rolling on the floor! In 'Hyacinth tees off', Hyacinth turns to a 'CHUCKER' of golf to impress a Frozen food king. I own all the KUA tapes but this one is top of my list.

I eat sleep breathe and dream of Hyacinth Bucket. She is so goddamn hilarious....I just can't get over her manner and ways. Each time I watch an episode...albeit a rerun...I get tickled. I manage to find something funny each time. Bravo Hyacinth....
