this is the best album johnny made.
great songs great backings, well worth the money.

These songs are original songs from the cadence era. They have been remastered from the original cadence records. I just wish that "Out
of My Mind" and other favorites were on this cd. If you are a Johnny
Tillotson fan, get this cd.

This is a great album & I think it is one of his best. Johnny Tillotson can sing anything & gives it his best. He can sing a song better than the original singer of a song. He is a great song writer. He is one of the best artist & I love to listen to him sing. I have been a big fan for 50 years. Thanks, Johnny!

I had to get this album after hearing it on someone else's office computer, recently. Growing up, it was one of the only albums in the house to play on the new "phonograph player." I couldn't afford to buy my own albums. The Beatles were just coming out, Beach Boys, Steppenwolf, Led Zepplin, etc. . . . They were on the radio, of course, but in rural New Mexico, the only stations you could hear good music on was after dark, on KOMA, Oklahoma City. So during the day, doing chores, this Tillotson album really grew on me, subconsciously. I am not a country fan, but this CD hits a sweet spot.

This is two albums on one CD, the first is great, the second, is not worth my time, I don't know why people screw these albums up like that, add and take off when you got a perfect album with just the first one. They do that with all the old singers nowadays, add a few bad songs onto an album, and it screws the classic album up. The reason the album sold good was because of the older selection, not because of the new ones. Dennis L. Siluk
