Place machine on table or counter and lift arm. 2. Load Patty paper onto metal posts. 3. Place ball of ground meat on patty paper. 4. Position liner on top of ball ground meat. 5. I paid about $80 for the hamburger patty maker. At that price I was expecting something a little more substantial. What I received was a cast aluminum hamburger press. I came with to pressing circles that were supposed to make different size burger patties. Both of the pressing circles are exactly the same thus only able to make one size of burger patty. It comes with a thin plastic film that helps eject patties getting ready for the next. This lasted for about 6 patties before it tore. Of course these are replaceable but have to be ordered separately. Works well if making a lot of patties at a time. I use it to make about two dozen patties once a week. It takes a lot of work to clean this as it is a bit awkward to handle in the sink. If had it to do buy again, I wouldn't.

This works well. I think it is mostly designed for a resteraunt, but I use it at home. It does seem to work best if you put a paper on top and bottom of machine befor pressing. My only wish is that it made a slightly thicker patty. You can do this by not squeezing the meat so much, but would like a deeper patty mold. The clean up is easy and the product is quality made.
