I will never use a glass growler again.

You kind of have to be careful when opening and closing and filling as the top is hard to get on and off and gets in the way when you try to fill it.

Due to thinner walls is smaller and lighter than a regular growler, and the wide mouth give you a preferable "no-glug" pour.

I bought an identical growler branded for a Colorado chain brewpub outlet (Ram) in the Portland, OR area, for somewhat less than this one costs.
Thoughts: quite a bit smaller and lighter than an equivalent volume glass growler. Conversely, the thin steel loses cold (technically gains heat, whatever) much quicker than a glass growler, so a growler koozie is highly recommended for this thing. Not sure why, but growler koozies are hard to find! If you do have a glass growler sized beer koozie made of neoprene, it will fit this thing pretty snugly based on the ones I have available (the velcro type, not zipper, since I've seen but not been able to find for purchase the zipper type).
The lid is a little hard to master. When I later took it in for the first refill at the brewpub of purchase, the bartender on duty could not get it fully open to fill and I had to walk her through it. It is not as easy as a traditional ceramic/plastic flip top glass growler top although from the picture you might think it was identical.
Because you can't see through the sides you can't tell how much beer you got in a fill. Weight is the only real guide, since foam will fill up to the brim and you'll be quite a while waiting for that to settle to see how much you really got. I've gotten home a time or two and been disappointed at how far down the beer level was, which never happened with glass growlers.
Literature claims steel is tougher, but I can't really say as I haven't put it to rough use. As I said before, it is quite a bit lighter than an equivalent glass growler, which makes it feel kind of flimsy to me. I haven't dropped this growler nor a glass growler, and I'm not inclined to go doing drop tests since these things aren't really cheap. If I had to choose one for a bar brawl I'd definitely go with a German glass growler.

It's a fine growler and I would use it all the time, except that, out of the four pubs and liquor stores around my house that refill growlers, only one can handle the neck of this one. The other three cannot refill it. Their refilling station is automated, extracting oxygen during the filling process and sadly does not fit the KegWorks growler neck. I therefore had to buy a cheap, glass, standard growler from one of the pubs and I end up using that most of the time. So, before buying, check with your local pubs. Five stars if it works for you; zero star if it does not. (Hence the three star rating.)

This is a very good quality S.S. growler. It is single walled, so works very well for a - "to and from trip to your favorite pub". Where you refrigerate, the growlers contents for maximum taste and longevity. Cleans easily and dries with a towel recommended for a spot free look. I recommend adding ice and water to cool it down before it is filled.

A fine growler. Stainless keeps it colder. Forget bottles or cans , there's already enough garbage out there ! Surfs up.

I love this Stainless Steel Growler and you will too. Super easy to use and won't break like glass. Great to take out with you on the raft.

Stainless steel, light, robust, what's not to like? I have a cozy with handles though. There is no handle allowing one to carry it by hand.

This looks awesome and does the trick. The only drawback is the short throw on the top. You kind of have to be careful when opening and closing and filling as the top is hard to get on and off and gets in the way when you try to fill it. Also, because it looks cool, people are going to expect your homebrew coming out of it to be super delish so don't put any of your less than stellar examples in there.
