This is a much sturdier pan than the price suggests. Since I don't make paella often, it is great to have a pan that is very functional and wasn't expensive. It worked well, cleaned beautifully and is simple enough to be attractive- the food in a paella pan is the star, anyway.

My paella skills will need to be honed before I can give a full evaluation, but so far this seems to be just the right size and weight, makes a crust at the bottom as the experts say it should, and cleans very easily.
