Natures Rising-One of Sweats best interludes 8. Come With Me-Ronald Isley makes this song also one of my favorites 9. In The Mood-Another quality song 10. Show Me The Way-Another great interlude 11. Nobody-the best R&B song in 1996 and 1997 (probably heard it one the radio at least once. Has been on the radio a lot) 12. Chocolate Girl-great way to end the CD

So all the songs on this CD are quality. If you don't already have this CD I suggest that you better go out and buy it. Its worth it.

Keith Sweat has done it again. This man is truly amazing vocaly and musicaly. He has written all songs on his albums and help produce it. "Come with me" is one of the strongest tracks on this album. He also has an amazing icon singing background vocals on it and that icon is no other than Ronald Isley himself! This song will forever be my favorite Keith Sweat songs. Keith has put out another good album and I'm sure he will continue to in the future.

Nobody and Twisted everyone knows are 2 great jams. But for some reason 'Just a Touch' is my favorite and it really makes me feel like it's 1996-1997. And those were good and fun times as a kid when there was only just a touch of BS you had to deal with while having a great time with life.

I am only 16 and this CD is on my all-time favorite list. If you like Luther Vandross, Johnny Gill, and Gerald Levert, then this CD is for you. His songs "Twisted" and "Nobody" are my favorites of all of his songs.

Keith Sweat did his thing on album. The best R&B you can find is on this CD. Songs like "Nobody", "Twisted", and my favorite, "Just A Touch". Go get this album if you really love R&B.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gonna Make You SWEAT, Babyy, March 21, 2000

This is one of the best hip-hop flava'd soul albums to CHILL DOWN at nite. Also Keith Sweat's best album so far ( I don' t like his other albums as much as i do this one ).

Simple, good, old-fashioned, horsesensed, musical stucture plus foreplay-oriented lyrics, sweet, beautiful melodies and Sweat' s laid-back, low- pitched trademark vocals are what this cool album is all about.

Satisfaction guaranteed by two hit singles: Twisted & Nobody which are great choices for chilldown in the still of the nite. Also plain yet sweet and beautiful is the sounds of keyboard in the album.

( To cut a long story short ) This album is the true gem and real charm of American black music.....

5.0 out of 5 stars one of my all time favorite CDs, May 5, 1999
By A Customer

This is one of my all time favorite CD's. I have had it for years and I listen to it over and over again and I never get tired of it. Keith Sweat's music is so smooth and so good! I have alot of R&B albums and this is by far the best one I have. The song "Nobody" is hauntingly beautiful-- it's one of my favorites. This CD is worth it's weight in gold!

4.0 out of 5 stars Vintage Keith, February 14, 2009
This review is from: Keith Sweat (Audio CD)
Keith Sweat is one of the legends in R&B. When I first heard Twisted feat Kut Klose, I was anxious to hear this album plus I heard a sample on the single for Twisted and I must say I wasnt disappointed. There are a lot hot tracks so I will run down the best ones

Twisted is a great choice for first single. Keith's singing is still on point and Kut Klose lay down some nice vocals on the chorus. Funky Dope Lovin feat Gerald Levert(RIP), Aaron Hall and Buddy Banks is superb. All of these singers on this track lay it down proper. Whatever You Want, In The Mood, Show Me The Way and Chocolate Girl are stunning examples of R&B in it's purest form and these songs show you that Keith Sweat has yet to be match by the R&B singers of today when it comes to slow jams.
Come With Me feat Ronald Isley is a great duet as both of them lay down smooth vocals over a smooth beat. Nobody feat Athena Cage of Kut Klose is the best Keith Sweat duet thus far on this album and it was a perfect choice for the second single.

There are two songs that stopped me from giving it five stars. Yumi is a track that I just dont feel. I dont think its cheesy or nothing but I just dont care for it. On the other hand the track Freak With Me is cheesy as they come. Keith Sweat can do well over fast songs but that one was a huge mistake and we'll leave it at that.

In closing Keith Sweat's self-titled album is a musical gem from an R&B giant that had yet to show signs of falling off in the game. The songs are beautiful, the production is nice and the guest appearances complement the track they're on. What more could you ask for from a Keith Sweat album? Two thumbs up from me.

Standouts: TWISTED, FUNKY DOPE LOVIN, WHATEVER YOU WANT, JUST A TOUCH, COME WITH ME, IN THE MOOD, SHOW ME THE WAY and NOBODY.

5.0 out of 5 stars Self-titled Beyond Slammin', August 22, 2007
This review is from: Keith Sweat (Audio CD)
I was very excited owning this CD. You talk about a body of love hits from the beggin' man himself, this CD exemplifies being "In The Mood" beyond belief. Having Ron Isley duetting with you only helps to excel the quality. Also, with his remake of Slave's "Just A Touch", my homeboy said it best: HE TOOK THAT SONG AND SANG IT LIKE IT WAS HIS! I second that. To any die-hard, hopeless romantic, this CD is a must have.
