I bought a tub just like this off of Babycenter last year with the ducky pattern. As soon as my son outgrew his Safer Bather (ie, could sit up reliably), we put him in this tub for baths. I tried one of those hard blue shaped tubs that my neighbor gave to me...he wiggled around and I had to use at least one hand to keep him in the tub. This one is great. He can sit in it and play with his toys easily. It's inflatable so most likely a slip will land the child on air, not porcelain. I was worried about teeth puncturing the tub, but even though he's up to 14 teeth, we still have no puctures. This tub is comfy enough to make bathtime fun but also saves water over using the full-size bathtub. Another HUGE plus, in between kids or for travel, this can be deflated and stored easliy. I would HIGHLY recommend this tub to anyone whose child can sit up, and the Safer Bather product for newborns.

When our baby reached seven months and was sitting up alot, she no longer wanted to lay back in an infant tub. We had read how dangerous and impractical bath seats can be so we opted for this inflatable tub. Our daughter loves it! And we like it because the inflatable sides provide a little cushion should she lean back.

My daughter loves this tub! It is perfect. I'd have given it five+ stars, except that there is a design flaw.

The seam between the ducky (the one that sticks off and quacks if you squeeze it) and the tub is not well made. We've been through two of these tubs already (we're on our third), both tore in the same place, and once that happens it will only stay inflated for about ten minutes. My daughter could not care less about the duck, so I know that it didn't tear from overuse.

I would recommend the KelGar Snug Tub instead. No need for the extra duck (or whatever) sticking off, waiting to tear, on the Deluxe. Just get the regular one without the frills and it'll probably last longer.

I've been searching for the perfect tub for my baby and I think I've found it! We've been using a plastic reclined tub since he was born, but he has clearly outgrown it. I tried one of those seat tubs(?), but he hated it and it seemed to scratch his legs ... TERRIBLE tub. Thankfully I was able to return that one. I found this one here on Amazon and reluctantly purchased it. Glad I did!! It allows a lot more freedom for him to explore and play (now that he can sit up unsupported). Bath time has become much more fun ... for both mom & baby!

UPDATE : i first reviewed this after we purchased the item. I've been using it for just over 1 month now and one of the seams has already torn. I don't think i've used this item improperly to cause it to happen sooner than "expected". Unfortunately, the patch-kit piece that came with the tub is significantly too small to patch it up completely. Very unfortunate because we loved the tub.

I purchased this tub for my granddaughter, whom had just learned to sit up alone, and was coming to visit me for a few days. She loved the tub right away! I deflated the tub at the end of her visit at my house and shipped it to her home. My daughter says she LOVES the tub so much too! I feel proud that I as a grandmother picked a great product out! My daughter and I both highly recommend this tub. The only improvement I could see in the design is that the ring holder is really not needed...I would have preferred it to not be on the tub as the baby wanted to 'bite' it...but...this is the only negative I have to say....overall BUY it - You will LIKE it!

Awesome tub, super useful for the little ones, helps to make them feel secure until they're bigger and able to handle the vastness of adult size bathing. I tried hanging it up and it worked a few times, now I just place it out in the hall when I need to use the shower or bath. No biggie. Drains fast, requires a spritz of bleach spray every now and then to get rid of the mold...mine has had two holes so far and I patched both, no problem. Our child has been using this since she was about 3 or 4 months old and is now almost 23 months). I'm sure we'll be using it for another five or six, maybe more. The little inflatable stacking rings are kind of dumb -those were lost within a few months but she had fun with them while they lasted. I would definitely give this as a baby shower gift. Also used it for travel and it deflated to almost nothing, very easy to pack. I also used it outside as a little swimming pool before she walked. VERY HANDY.

This is a great tub. However, we just had to replace it with another one. We traveled with it and as soon as we did, it got a hole in it. We limped along for a few months, blowing it up every night, then the seal on the rubber ducky gave way and that was it! The patches do NOT work. We replaced it with the same tub, without the DUCKY! Just the plain, not deluxe. The reason? The seam on the rubber ducky's bill was sharp and would scratch my sons's arm when he was in the tub...most of the time, we got around this by folding the ducky in between the tub and the big tub. Update: our latest tub has a hole in the bottom section! We have had it for about a month! We are not rough with it either!

This is a great tub for any baby able to sit up on their own. It is the perfect size with room for your little one to grow. It not only saves on water you would use to fill a larger tub but gives your little one a sense of security. When i tried our baby in the big tub he cried and didnt like it so i tried him back in his infant tub and he was fine. I realized it was a matter of security for him. The large tub was just so over-whelming. He loves to squeek the duck and play with tossing rings. Price is just right to! Just be careful when you inflate tub because it inflates in sections. My husband used an air compressor thinking it was all one compartment to fill with air and it blew up!

My six month old received his new tub today and he loves it! He goes back and forth bewtween the squeaky duck and the toy rings.

He is better protected with the padded sides and has plenty of room to play. It's easy to clean and the suction cup is very handy for hanging up. He's too big for the traditional baby tubs, and the bath seats leave him feeling too exposed. Only problem is even with me right there to steady him sometimes his bottom will slide out from under him. Make sure you are right there at all times. Of course my little guy just started sitting on his own.

Overall I highly recommend this tub. It's cute, very snuggy, and easy to clean and hang dry. I've boughten quite a few baby gadgets and this is one of the coolest! I'm so glad that I happened upon it!

I have a 9 month old (22 lbs). She likes sitting in this, and it works just fine. Has not leaked yet, and being able to hang it up on the wall when not using it is very helpful. No one can say it's not worth the money.
