I got the first version of this (without the shade) for our baby girl and love it. It is so easy to set up and take down. Just remove from the bag, open it up a bit, pull on two strings, and fill the pockets with sand to weigh it down. To take it down, just push on the top and it pops down. Wrap it up and pop it back in the bag. It is lightweight and small enough that I have stuck it in a suitcase to take on a cruise to use at the beaches. We also travel to Hilton Head at least once a month and take it along with us. The only drawback is that the floor at the door is raised so it's a little uncomfortable if trying to lay down next to your baby. This does help prevent a lot of sand from getting inside though. I lay down a towel or blanket for our daughter to lay on as the floor is a tarp like material. I wish they had this when my son was born!

I got this product as a gift for my baby shower. I used it all of one time and thought it was great. The second time I attempted to pop up the little tent. I realized it was broken. A screw of some sort was missing and I was no longer able to pop the tent up. I called the manufacturer Kel Gar Inc..I thought they could help me. They were not helpful at all. I was hoping the company would stand behind their product and repair it or have a part to replace it. I was told by "the president of the company" that I would have to deal with the retailer.
This product is terrible disappointment. However what as more disappointing was the customer service. This product is assembled in China and fabric is Korean.

I bought this tent for my 4 month old son. We live 5 minutes from the beach and I knew we'd be spending a lot of time there over the summer. I researched several and found this model to be the quickest to set up/take down. The other reviews were correct. It only takes pushing the button and pulling the strings to put this model up/down. It's 2 seconds flat and you can do it with the baby in the other arm. The tent blocks the sun wonderfully. The sides are open to allow air to flow through. The front has a shade you can zip on or off. And the front also has a velcro closure to keep bugs out. Our son loves it. We put down a soft play mat or towel for him to lay in inside. It's large enough so I can get in with him to feed him or change him. The front section is wonderful b/c he can sit outside but not have to be in the sand. This model is more expensive than others but is worth the extra money.
My only con is there is nothing to weight this tent down. There are small pockets on both sides. I read some fill ziploc bags with sand and use those as weights. We just use our shoes and diaper bag. It will blow away without something to hold it down.

I really needs to be bigger. An adult can not fit comfortably with a child inside. Very easy to open. We now use it as an indoor toy. I wouldn't buy if you are planning on having room for more than two small children.

Will not fold up neatly into the carrying case it provided. I was going to return it, but folding it up to fit in the original box was even harder than the carrying case! Keeping it, but having to find something else to store it in is a pain.

This is a great little tent to take to the beach and pool! My children love it, especially when there is no shade available. The tent easily pops out for use. Sometimes it is tricky to get the tent back into the carrying case but it will go back in its case if done correctly.

I bought this for my 7 month son and he loves it. So far we used it for the backyard as opposed to dragging out the pac n' play. It is easy to open but closing it with the tarp sometimes is hard. I have not used the canopy yet. It is worth the money if you need something like this.
