Keller is one of those people that in order to truly appreciate his talents, you need to see just how he constructs his music. This DVD is just that. With an arsenal of instruments he takes the stage and progressively builds on a melody at times like a mad scientist. This DVD could not have been more appropriately titled "SIGHT". You really need to see this. How can you best describe Keller...kind of like a more musically diverse Dave Mathews that plays everything himself with some occasional help from his sound guy Lou.

Keller williams is ahead of the curve on jam band style music. If you've never seen or heard of him this dvd is exactly what you need. His studio stuff, although good, is not really what Keller is all about. He is one man and it sounds at times like an entire band. CHECK IT OUT

If you have seen keller in person, this does not do him justice. That being said, this video is still really good. It shows his stage antics, and his overall talent and how good he is at doing what he does. The thing that I say kind of disappointed me is the fact that he didn't use as much looping as when i saw him live. When i saw him he used boomwhackers "pitched tubes that you hit on the ground" and made an accompaniment by looping about 20 diffent pitches. It amazed me. But still, overall a really good dvd worth purchasing!

I love this man. He's just got such a warm and friendly stage presence, and he's so mellow and low key while he makes such incredible music. First thing my girlfriend said when I showed this DVD to her was "he looks so happy!"
There are better songs on this DVD, but Above The Thunder has to be my favorite, its such a beautiful song. I have some of Keller's cd's but nothing compares to watching him play. I've yet to see him live but until I do, this DVD will more than suffice.

I also use this DVD to learn to play his songs, because they have some great angles. I always end up busting strings though, Keller's playing is fierce.

Keller Williams is the man. He is very talented. He loops many diff instruments into 1 awesome song. it is very cool. he is very experimental and i love it.

Man, I wish I could give this DVD 10 stars ... that's how good it is.

I knew Keller only from his CD "Stage", which, by the way, is brilliant, too, but to finally see him on DVD is such a pleasure.

Keller Williams is one of the most innovative musicians out there today, he plays guitar like no other, he's got a great voice, plays bass, mouth percussion, percussion, etc.

And he grooves like hell. And did I mention that he uses a looping device that makes Keller a real one-man band, complete with bass, guitar, drums.

If you already know Keller's music, you know what kind of treat you are in for if you buy this DVD, if you don't know his stuff yet, I can highly recommend buying this DVD, it contains some of the most original music from one of the most creative musicians today!

Unlike the last review posted, i think this dvd was amazing.
I was there for BOTH SHOWS and had an amazing time. and then to my surprise, they captured me cheering at the end of "Roshambo" hahaha. Keepsake indeed.
This dvd was compiled of songs from 2 concerts, and there was A LOT that wasnt kept in. I think its a wonderful dvd...and you know what....I still enjoy it eventhough I have seen Keller 44 times. If you havent seen Keller and want to know how he does what he does, get this dvd....you WONT regret it.

I just got the DVD yesterday and watched it all. The music was great. As others have said he is the master of his domain. The music is great and I was/am excited to see him onstage since he is not coming around these parts on his summer or fall tour this year. However, I guess I could have done with out the pee, fart, and picking nose antics between songs. I don't really know what I expected his personal life to be like but hell, he came off as a dork on the DVD. I wondered if they caught a sober side of him at all, which is a little disturbing thinking that many of the shots were of him and the others behind the wheel of the bus, driving. Anyway... Its well worth it if you want it for the music and stage performance. If your hoping to catch a little peek into his personal life, you'll be a bit disappointed.

I've seen Keller live a few times and every one of those shows was better than this DVD. This is a really mediocre show and it does not come close to showing his musical ability. The songs on here get tiresome because the entire DVD is only ONE show. They should have taken songs from different concerts so you could get a better idea of what he can do. Borrow this from a friend but don't buy it.
