Good DVD!,

This review is from: Kelly Osbourne - Live at the Electric Ballroom (Keep Case) (DVD)
This is an awesome DVD! Every Kelly fan should own one. It has great footage like Soundcheck, an interview, a video and of course, the concert. I really like her cover of "Sunglasses at Night", much better than Corey Hart's. The only slight problem with this is DVD is the video quality, like on the video for "Changes", its widescreen, when it's suppsosed to be full screen, so it looks stretched. But besides that, the concert was great and Kelly rocks. She has her own thoughts and opinions and doesnt care what anybody says or thinks of her, as the 16 min. interview proves. Buy this DVD if your even the least bit of a Kelly fan, you will enjoy it and will get you into her even more and show you how cool of a person she is. Ignore the f'ed up, ignorant things alexis_whatever said, im not going to say anything because it's stupid. BUY THIS DVD!!

The main body of this DVD is a concert performed by Kelly Osbourne at The Electric Ballroom in Camden Town, London. The concert was recorded on June 25, 2003. The total run-time for the concert is about 53 mins. The following is a track listing of the songs performed at the concert:
1. Disconnected 2. Contradiction 3. On the Run 4. Shut up 5. Right Here 6. I Wear My Sunglasses at Night 7. The Tao of You. 8. Come Dig Me Out. 9. More Than Life Itself 10. Coolhead 11. On Your Own 12. Papa Don't Preach The extras on this DVD include a Soundcheck, an Interview with Kelly, and the Changes music video with Ozzy. The Soundcheck runs about 15 mins and includes short clips of Kelly's fans rooting for her. The interview segment runs over 16 mins and features an unknown interviewer. The "Changes" music video runs just over 4 mins and features plenty of home video clips with a young Kelly and her famous dad, Ozzy. The music was nothing special. The image quality of the concert is kind of grainy. However, nice to see Ozzy and Kelly together along with old home video clips of her youth and the rest of the family. Also, the DVD box is of good quality. Only recommended if you are a fan of Kelly or the Osbournes.

On the Sharon Osbourne show a few weeks ago she had Kelly on as a "Guest" (really just to Plug this DVD). In my opinion Kelly looked like the Prostitute I turned down last week! She said she was tired but to me she looked stoned because she really didn't seem to be all there (even if she really was just tired) Her responses were slow and just looked bad. Anyway, when they showed a clip from the dvd kelly was on stage running back and forth in her Leather outfit singing like a cross between Tina Turner and Madonna. "Papa don't preach" didn't sound anything like on her album. My Point. Yes dispite the fact that Kelly some how managed to get a Dvd out. And is apparently clean and sober. It might still be to late for her to make a comeback. For some reason Season 3 of "the osbournes" stopped when Kelly was being dragged in to rehab after they found a bag full of pain killers under her bed! The show went on when Sharon had Cancer, when Ozzy almost killed himself ATV, And during Jack's drug addiction. And if you believe that she was just on pain killers you need to guess again!!!!! Okay I know what your saying "big deal its music." But, she's 19 and Jack was trying to kill himself with the same drugs just last year! In my opinion: If that stupied show that she's going to be in on ABC and if her next album is actually descent then she might have a prayer. -But, if they both bomb then she should just quit while she can.

I am so very thankful that I didn't purchase this talentless, disgusting girl's DVD. She can't sing in key to save her life. She can't sing - period. The only reason on earth that she has made this DVD is because she has a famous - an equally talentless - daddy. Additionally, Kelly Osbourne is a jealous, bitter, and terribly UGLY little whiner who can only dream of possessing Christina Aguilera's vocal power. How pathetic is it that Ms. Osbourne musty belittle someone as gifted as Christina Aguilera in order to gain herself more borrowed time in the spotlight? What goes around comes around, and I truly hope Kelly Osbourne will reap what she has sown, thricefold. She should look at both her external and internal ugliness and realize that she isn't worth the price of her ill-fated eyeliner. Her cover of "Papa Don't Preach" shows just how weak and unimaginative her vocals are. Madonna would be rolling over in her grave if she were dead. Buy this DVD only if you would enjoy watching a fat drag queen mull around trying to suck on a microphone....although doing so would only show your complete lack of class and taste. |
