The idea is simple but innovative: the inflatable perimeter suspends you in the water, while the mesh inner oval allows your weight to descend into the water, just enough to keep you cool. With its new, patented Jet Valve, the lounger inflates in seconds. A comfortable backrest and extended ottoman let you stretch out and relax for increased comfort. When you're ready to hit the road, the lounger deflates quickly and folds easily into a small, lightweight disk. This deluxe version also includes a carrying bag that has compartments for sunscreen, book, cell phone, keys, and other basic necessities of a lazy afternoon. The float's fabric and trim is 100% nylon, and the frame is 50% steel/50% PVC. Available in royal blue with a tropical pattern on the inner mesh material.

We've owned 4 of these. They're the most comfortable float out of a half dozen different kinds we've tried. But, here's the problem. The seat is a wafer thin water permeable material that disintegrated after just two seasons in our chlorinated pool. If you use chlorine, and don't mind replacing the float after one or two seasons, I highly recommend it. We've switched our pool sanitation to a Clearwater ionizer which doesn't harm anything except algae and bacteria so we're counting on getting many years out of our Kelsyus floats, but chlorine really does a job on them.

I ordered two Kelsyus floating loungers. It doesn't take long to blow one up, but it would be nice if an air pump could be used instead of your lungs. One has kept the air in for weeks; the other must have had a leak. I went on line to arrange for an exchange, and I received the replacement before I even had returned the one with the leak (at no cost for postage). The new one is fine. We like the design because most of your body is in the water and stays cool. You can keep your legs and feet in the water or on the lounger. It is very comfortable for me to lay back on but less so for my husband who is 6'4" tall. We like that it has a covering over the plastic so that you don't stick to it and it doesn't get too hot. For the price, we recommend this lounger. I plan to spend many hours on it in our pool this summer:-)

THIS IS THE BEST FLOAT WE'VE USED. WE ARE OVERWEIGHT AND IT HANDLES THE WEIGHT OF LARGER SWIMMERS PERFECTLY. IT'S MORE FUN TO BE IN THE WATER NOW.

I bought this at my local Costco for $28.99. Once you have it inflated, it works well, but here are some things to keep in mind.

1. Better quality inflatables have inflation valves that let air in but don't easily let air out. That makes inflation very easy. This product isn't one of them. Instead you have to pull the valve up in order to inflate it, and then have to push it down once you're done inflating to stop the air from rushing out. Easier said then done. I finally discovered the trick was to put my finger on the valve opening the second I removed my inflator, and then push the valve down with my finger on it. A very inconvenient design, but it works. There are two valves--a main valve in back of the headrest and another valve to inflate the foot rest.

2. I use an Intex Quick-Fill AC Electric pump for all my inflatables. Not only did that make inflating this a breeze (once I discovered how to keep the air in by immediately putting my finger on the inflation valve when I was done and pushing it down), but deflation as well. The Intex has two openings--one that blows air in and one that sucks it out. It took me a couple of minutes to inflate both the top and bottom, but less than a minute to deflate both.

3. This folds into a circle and can be placed in the included mesh bag for storage or travel. The diameter when folded is just 18", so this is easy to pack. It's not as easy to fold, and I couldn't find any videos showing how to do it. However, I've had other twist and fold items, and figured it out after a couple of attempts. There are printed directions attached to this that supposedly show how to fold it, but they're far from clear.

Bottom line: This is comfortable to use in the water and compact to travel with. With better inflation valves and better folding directions this would be easier to use.

I bought this to try out. I learned on my last resort trip these are great at the pool to just relax in large open pools. I am 300lbs and about 6 feet and it works for me. The limit it says is 250 but it fit me fine. Mind you the cup holer sank in a bit but it holds well. It's also so easy to blow up. Only the bag part and foot rest need inflation. There is a metal wiring that holds it all together. Also it has a nice carrying back that flattens out for travel. I highly recommend this for anyone going to a resort with a pool or lazy river. I'm going to buy another one for my g/f so we both have one

I purchased two loungers and took them to Aruba this winter and both products leaked air in all the air chambers. I would inflate the lounger and float in the pool a short time and have to get out of the pool to put more air in the lounger. I would not recommend purchasing this product from Kelsyus. I called Kelsyus and they told me there was nothing they could do for me.

After going thru many pool floats that were either uncomfortable or flimsy, this is the one that everybody fights over to get to use. So we now own 3 of them! I've taken many naps on this one while floating in the pool. It allows you to sun, but also keep part of you in the water to stay cool. The best part is, at end of season, it folds up into a flat saucer with a nice storage bag and takes up no space in storage.
