Larry Kirwan is a national treasuer,
This review is from: Keltic Kids (Audio CD)
Keltic Kids /Larry Kirwan/Pirate Moon RecordsOne of music's most exciting story tellers produces a natural collection of Keltic tales . Just as all folks are Irish on St. Partakes Day, all who listen to this wonderful pot of golden tunes (young or old) will have a reason to claim to be kids as well as lie about being keltic. Every song on this c.d. is marvelous. Many of the tunes are based on traditional Irish folk tales (ie..Wild Colonial Boy) BUT Mr. Kirwan incorporates some American folk heroes (i.e.. Billy The Kid) in the Mulligan stew. Supported by his band mates from Black-47, as well as G.E.Smith and Roseanne Cash, This effort is a delight that Keltic Kids of all ages will love and I am certain that you will find to your taste ANY time of the year!.

While shopping in an Irish specialty store in Annapolis, MD, I found this CD and bought it for my then 4 and 6 year old sons. Four years later, we're still listening it to it. I love this CD as much as the kids. In fact, I'm about to buy a couple more for birthday and Christmas presents for other kids in our life.
