I purchased this bag believing that it was 100% cotton, since no where in the description does it mention that the bag is made of another material. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that the bag is 70% polyester and 30% cotton. Additionally, the thickness of the bag is that of a thin pillow case. I was looking for something sturdy and 100% cotton, and this bag did not meet that. I was under the impression that this "storage" bag would be something strong, sturdy and OK to keep in the garage. However, it is dainty, thin, and definitely in-house use.

Worse, after emailing Amazon about this, I still have not received a solid answer as to whether or not I will be charged for return shipping since they have not admitted that this is an error on their part for not giving an accurate description.

I ordered this Kelty Cotton Storage Sack the same time I ordered an oversize sleeping bag. This storage sack is of well made cotton fabric and has plenty of room for most all of the sleeping bags made. No more folding and wrapping a sleeping bag as small as possible to slip into a storage sack. I recommend this Kelty Cotton Storage Sack to store your sleeping bag.

Kelty is marketing this as a cotton storage sack, but mine is merely 20% cotton and 80% polyester. One prior reviewer noted 30% cotton and 70% polyester. It's functional and still breathable, but I was expecting 100% cotton. Don't buy this if you want a cotton canvas material. I use my sacks to store my down sleeping bags and expedition weight down clothing, and I expect them to be 100% cotton.

I own several Equinox 100% cotton sacks as well as an REI 100% sack. I recommend both. I also highly recommend the Antigravitygear cotton sack which is FAR BIGGER and holds my 0-degree and -25 degree sleeping bags without compression. It is larger than the cotton storage bags I received from Marmot and Western Mountaineering.

I bought several of these to store the comforters in the off-season and they do the job just fine. I needed something that I could store them without compressing them too much and this is perfect. I'd prefer it without the logo and for a little less money but I'm pleased with their function.

After years of frustration to stuff oversize sleeping bags into stuff bags that were way too small, I finally found these great bags. Perfect fit! A winnner! Thanks!

This sack is very useful for it's intended purpose, storage of sleeping bags, but it is very thin. Sure it will keep dust off your bag while it's packed away waiting for your next trip but it isn't durable, don't put it through any kind of punishment. For the price they are asking, I would've expected something a bit more durable, otherwise it does exactly what it is sold to do.
