Backcountry- bad experience,

This is a review of Backcountry- not the Kelty Grommet backpack. I ordered this backpack for my son's 5th birthday. It was his most desired gift. A week after I placed the order, I received an email from Backcountry that my order was canceled, however, I never canceled it. I called them, spoke to young man named Dustin, and was rudely told I was supposed to have received two emails. The first explaining the order is out of stock. I explained I never received that email and was disappointed since it was meant for a birthday gift. Dustin did not try to accommodate me in any way- and I would think it would be wise on Backcountry's part to advise their customer service people to at least direct customers to a similar item. A flat apology is poor customer service in my opinion. I would not recommend shopping with this store and I personally do not plan to do so in the future. Now, I will not have time to order another backpack from a different company in time for his birthday. Boo on Backcountry.
