I lead a 72 mile canoe trip in BC, Canada each year and am a Scout Master for Boy Scouts in Washington State. So, I am in the rain on many of my trips.
This tarp is a great shelter against the elements and also can cover my dome tent and entry to keep EVERYTHING DRY! All of my tents are waterproof, but some times it is just nice to have the tarp get wet and keep the rainfly dry.
I would recomend this for all scout troops and any back country use..
