All of the action of professional baseball has been shrunk and put on the Game Boy Color with KEN GRIFFEY JR.'S SLUGFEST. You can play as any Major League team, complete with real players. Once you have the right team, play an Exhibition game to work on putting all aspects of the game together. If you want some extended competition, play a 26, 78, or 162 game Season, during which all of the performance stats for each player are tracked. If you don't want to deal with the ups and downs of a Season, skip right to the World Series and try to win it all. And if you don't have time for a full game, see how many dingers you can hit in the Home Run Derby. Will you be able to handle the pressures of professional baseball? I loved this game for GBC. It is by far and wide the best sports game out there for Game Boy. I would recommend. It has all the new teams, players, stats, etc. You can have a season, exhibition, home run derby, or go straight to the playoffs. It's Great!

Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest is great! The graphic are excellent compared to most other game boy games. You can play an exhibition game, a homerun derby, or a season. You can play either 1, 3, 7, or 9 innings. Also, for players who aren't very good at fielding (like myself), there is an auto field mode where you pitch and bat, but the computer fields for you! This game is terrific!

Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest has awesome graphics with assorted diagrams to let you know the situation of the game: who's pitching, who's batting, balls, strikes, outs, and who's on base. I loved playing Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest mainly because of the choice of things to do. You can play a World Series, a Home Run Derby, an entire season, or just a regular game. You can change your lineup and bullpen, and in the season mode, you can view your schedule, any division's standings, and trade players! If you are a baseball fan, Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest is sure to be a grand slam!
