Jennings has come up with a fun way to absorb over 8800 different blurbs of trivia. The book is in Almanac form and has a daily fact that reflects something related to that day. There are also trivia questions and many are ranked as "easy" "hard" and "yeah good luck". He has also included matching quizzes on just about any topic that you can think of.
All in all, Jennings has put together an informative and absolutely entertaining book. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to know more!

I can never get my fill of trivia, and this book was a gem. There is a lot of interesting information, from a man who was very successful at this. Read to your heart's content.

My wife used this, among other sources, to prepare for her appearance on Jeopardy! Great entertainment even if you're not planning for Jeopardy!

Hands down this is the best trivia book that I have ever read. Ken always ask clever questions that aren't too hard and also not too easy. Plus, in terms of sheer volume, with nearly 9,000 high quality questions in a variety of formats. Strongly recommended.

How can anybody know this stuff? Tons of great questions. Based on the price of the new book, you get almost 6 questions per cent, and more than that if you get the Kindle version. After whiffing on most of the questions, I felt like a dolt, then I looked up the answers, and I was looking for an excuse to show off my new "knowledge". This book is highly recommended.

I feel smarter every day that I read Ken's book. Oh...I do read ahead, because it is quite intriguing. Some of the questions are really hard. But now I think that I'll know more than the average person when the year is over. All kidding aside, it is great. I loved watching Ken on Jeopardy, and think that he could have gone even farther. Everyone has their limits. I totally recommend this book to every trivia buff, and even those who just want to know more.

This is not your typical "what happened on this day" book, but it is laid out as such. Each day has two or three things that happened on that particular day and then trivia questions or match-ups related to them. Most occurrences were obscure items - you wouldn't find the fact that the Titanic sank on April 15, rather that the Beatles recorded the first hidden message in rock music that day. If you want to know the basic things, such as birthdays or more obvious what-happened-on-this-day facts, I would suggest getting another book for that. This, however, really is full of fascinating trivia, I love it!

This disappointed me personally because it is in the format of quizzes where you test your knowledge and then can check your answers. I probably did not read the description well, it was probably clear and I messed up. The vast majority of the questions I had no clue as to the answer. What I was looking for was a book that just contained bits of trivia. This book would probably be fun for somebody who already has good knowledge of trivia.

If you're into trivia and like Jeopardy, this is the book for you. Its amazing how the players remember all the stuff contained. Jennings has listed subjects together. He then challenges you to try and answer the question.
I know I learned the answers only to have to think about them a while later.
Its a neat book that arrived very fast and is used frequently. Good dealer.

This is a great book. Not only is it bound and typset very well, it has some great trivia. I received this for my birthday and my family and I couldn't help but sit around the living room while one of us rattled off questions and we all tried to answer them. It was a ton of fun and we all learned a lot. I totally recommend it.
