This review is from: Kendo Rage (Video Game)
This game is amazingly fun for being so short. However, unless you are a video game god, you will need the cheat code for levels. It's amazingly fun for the half hour it takes to reach the end, but I can't beat it.

This review is from: Kendo Rage (Video Game)
In this game you play Jo, a teenage californian gal who's staying in Japan and taking kendo lessons. One day Jo meets a magic user named Bob who turns Jo into a super heroine and sends her on a misson to battle evil. But first she must get to her class on time, all the while fighting monsters all the way. As Jo you must fight your way through each level using your different powers, and make it to the end before time runs out. There are orbs you can collect along the way, which give you different attacks. (One attack is a stream of flame, another makes your sword swing in a blur, ect.) Yellow orbs can be collected, each one of which will allow Jo to block an attack without taking damage. Jo also has a charging attack where she brifly becomes a ball of fire and can run into enemies, but it uses up health. The game's real charm comes from it's intro scenes that appear before levels. The dialoge is funny and it makes you want to finish the game to see what the end is like. The enemie bosses are especially interesting and give amuseing comments before attacking. If you are an anime fan and you own a Super NES, this is a must-have.
