After buying the first season box set I instantly became a fan of the series and knew I had to see the series through to the end and bought these last two box sets to do it. Like one reviewer said with the previous season one box set I could have waited until Funimation released the second season in one box set but I had the money and just felt I had to get it now. The stories main character Kenichi Shirahama who after being bullied at school for sometime even from some of the students of the martial arts club he tried joining to defend himself finds a young well endowed female transfer student by the name of Miu Furinji being set upon by some of the bullies fears for her safety but feels he can't do anything about it, but as he finds out she herself is quite a skilled martial arts fighter after seeing her defeat the pack of bullies easily, after trailing her unknowingly to her dojo home he sees the martial arts masters she lives with and after a somewhat forced pushing from one of the masters becomes their student. But after a few fight wins he now finds himself being faced with new opponents who are looking to reach the top by knocking off the stronger fighters that Kenichi has unknowingly placed himself in. The series is pretty funny with some drama of course in the series as well but luckily they don't saturate the series with it so it doesn't become to dramatic because of it. The series animation and soundtrack fit perfectly together both done pretty well and the voice cast for the Japanese and English cast fit their characters pretty well too. So if you like fighting animes or comedy animes here's a good combination of both...

If you enjoyed Season One, You'll definitely enjoy Season Two Part One. I though my siblings would get me part 2 for Christmas, they didn't ;o), so I'll get it. This is the best Kenichi yet.

Season two as a single box set would have been preferable. Parents should watch to decide if it's suitable for pre-teens or young teens, it's not really very bad, but opinions can vary on some of the ideas and situations in this one. It continues the original storyline yet somehow feels a little different at times. Still a good series, and they begin foreshadowing the conflict between KenIchi and Odin. Some of the story gets a little predictable, but that's not always a bad thing. If you liked season one, you should like this as well.

i truly enjoyed this anime when i first got it a year ago. i really got into it and i can say its one of my favorites. it only gets better with season 2. the fights get more intense and i just love the suspense. as soon as i finished watching these episodes (27-38 i believe) i went out and watched up until the last episodes (39-50) because i got so into it. dont wanna use spoilers but it doesnt disappoint. i highly recommend this especially if u have only seen season 1. i cant wait for part 2.

if your into fighting a must see prob the season 2 part 1 the weakest out the whole series and more into character development esp. getting the first fist to show his face but still sum good points the fight with hermit not bad Lo key or whatever his name is ruins the anime in my opinion any one disagree tell me why lol still a good anime good points still made even on this disc still the exciting factor not as good as the other discs worth 30 dollars not by a longshot 20 dollars yea but maybe im being nice :) :)
