I got this toaster oven for Christmas and my excitement was short lived. #1-It cooks about 100 degrees hotter than indicated, which I can deal with by reducing the cooking temp and covering my food with foil. #2-Sometimes the door has an annoying rattle. #3-If large crumbs fall through the rack, when the crumb tray is pulled out, the large crumbs fall to the bottom of the oven. #4-If this wasn't annoying enough, the worst problem is the design with the door. The handle is so big and bulky, when it is open, it is very difficult to get items out of the oven because the HOT door doesn't lay flat. I have the burn marks on my forearm to prove it. Never wrote a review before, but I thought this one was worthy.
The oven heats up very quickly but the metal used is very light and cheap. This makes it difficult to clean any major spills without damaging the metal itself, which turns an ugly color. This makes me hesitant to cook any food directly in the pan itself. The oven also radiates a great deal of heat upwards and outwards, so users must be careful not to have anything flammable nearby.
Able to make anything I want . I have been cooking for over 50 yrs. had so many toaster overs I lost count . By far this is the best (other then a commercial over) Yes you do have to watch how thing are going. It's Convection TOASTER oven and are a little tricky. Again, It's a toaster over, not a full convection over. It's the easiest over to clean . from baked on Cheese from a dripping pizza to the grease from broiling . Whatever the surface is . it's great. Also controls are easy to use and read. over all for the price you can't go wrong .
