15 Kenmore Upright Allergen Filtration Cloth Vacuum Cleaner Bags for 50688 and 50690 - 15 Total Bags

These bags really collect fine dust. My house is much less dusty than before using these bags. I have a dog and that causes more dust. I got the high end bags from Sears before and these are twice as good as those bags. I won't use anything else from now on.

My vacuum is a Kenmore Model 116 "Progressive with Direct Drive True HEPA."

The correct bags are size "O", part number (from the Kenmore packaging) 50690.

They are longer than wide, have a hole with a rubber washer to fit the vacuum inlet, and are marked "HEPA" on the thick bag material.

I bought these bags because they were cheap, marked with the same part number "for 50688 and 50690," and the listing implied they were HEPA - "by Kenmore DVc Cloth Hepa bags." But they are not a close enough replacement to work at all. In other words, for me they are just trash, going to be thrown out. Instead of cheaper, they are more expensive because they are useless for me.

The are a different shape than the correct bag - square, instead of long to fit the vacuum. The cardboard attachment doesn't have the rubber washer, and in fact won't fit the vacuum inlet. The material is also thinner than the original, and isn't marked HEPA on the bag or on the packaging. HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air )is an actual standard - I'm sure if the bags met the standard they would mention it.

The bag itself is marked "Kenmore 20-50404", which is probably what it is. I'm guessing that the seller makes the bags for Sears, and packages and sells them on their own, since the outside packaging doesn't say Kenmore.

The packaging also lists three Kenmore model numbers, but NOT 50690, meaning that the seller (GoVacuum) was apparently responsible for the incorrect listing.

In any case, if you need a Kenmore "size O" bag, this won't do.

This would get zero stars, reflecting its value to me, if that were possible.

I couldn't believe the price I paid for these bags when I compare it to all of the bags I've been purchasing in the last 5 years. Great savings, fast service.

I've gone through 3 of these bags and they get the job done. We have one cat in our house and these bags have done just about as good a job as the HEPA bag our vacuum came with.

We have 2 dogs and a cat, 1 dog being very large and very furry so I need a great bag and this one is. The bags I was using before would start to smell really bad when they were 1/2 full. No problem at all with this bag even when full. Excellent price too!

this is a great price, for what appears to be a high quality paper bag..the bags are similar to the kenmore 50688 , but they are in no way made of cloth( model 50690.) if i was rating the accuracy posted by the seller i would have to give them a 0- i believe honesty is very important when we have to trust the seller to give us a description of the product. i read that these bags are made of cloth, and i ordered them because i was looking for a relacement to model 50690..i received bags made of paper (model 50688). i initially rated these as 4, because they are a good price for a replacement for filter 50688., but as i thought about it more i decided that isn't what i was rating..i bought this based on a description that said i was getting a cloth filter bag, and i recieved paper. so i changed my rating to reflect the quality of the cloth bags they claim to have sold me.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these bags; I even think they are better than the original "Kenmore" stamped bags (NLA)that were also made in China.
The original bags are no longer available at Sears other than as a replacement "part" at close to $7 per bag last time I checked. The last bags I ordered from somewhere were a yellow paper bag. I paid about $4 per bag for those so I was leery when I ran across these bags on Amazon for about $1 per bag (qty 15).

The seller shipped promptly, I got the bags within two days.
Lo and behold, cloth bags! True HEPA cloth bags that fit perfectly. other than not being stamped with the Kenmore logo these were almost a clone for the original bags *except* for one key detail.
These bags come with an adhesive flap to seal the full bag after you remove it! Now you won't get a poof of dust in your face when handling the full bag. The original bags did not have this feature.

I saw a review saying they received yellow paper bags instead of cloth. My order was shipped from seller "More Quality Less Money" and I received true HEPA cloth bags.

The vacuum bags include an allergen filtration material which seems to work well. the value for the price is excellent. I received them in a timely manner and am pleased with the product.

To the person who rated these bags a "3" because they were paper. I think you were sent the wrong bags. I received five sealed packages of three per package. The bags work much better than the paper bags (no fine dust on inside of vac. I use these bags for an old Advance Carpetwin 14xp. The fit is tight and works great. No complaints. Shipping was quick. Much cheaper than the paper bags I was purchasing locally. The Advance bags are very expensive, these actually work better.

These bags are for the Kenmoore vacuum my wife has. They work great and have never had a problem with them.
