I have a Kenmore sewing machine, Model 1815, from 1977. I've always used Kenmore bobbins and needles, no others would fit. The machine still works great after all these years. Apparently, Kenmore has discontinued their needles and bobbins. I used one of these for the first time yesterday, and thankfully, it fit and it worked!

I have a Lady Kenmore 89 made in the 1950s and these bobbins are wonderful. Nearly all of the class 15 bobbins I've bought recently are slightly the wrong size. They get stuck in the LK89's bobbin case and I have to pry them out using a small screwdriver, which is a time-consuming and irritating process. The bobbins I received from this seller are the only bobbins I've found which come out of the bobbin case properly -- no screwdriver required! I'm very glad these are available.

I have 2 Kenmore machines and find them real work horses they are real faithful and I appreciate that the bobbins I ordered fit both machines altho one of my machines is much older than the other. After always having to match bobbins to the machine with the Singer machine and the two Brother machines I have this is much easier.These metal bobbins wind easily and fit perfectly. Before trying the bobbins I rated this as good, but when I tried to use one, it was too small to fit, so that I was not able to thread it. I tried each bobbin in the pack and they were all too small for my Kenmore machine (over 15 year model). Perhaps they can only fit a certain Kenmore model? Does it make a difference if its a vertical or horizontal model for the bobbin size?
