I am pleased so far with this watch. Do not buy this watch if you think it's like a Swiss. They don't hide the fact that it's a Chinese movement and thats ok. Chinese movements have come a long way and this watch keeps decent time. Mine gains about 20 seconds a day, but it's not a big deal. It will probably improve over time. I bought this watch for $135 and it is worth that price. The $235 it retails for is too much. This is the same movement in Fossil watches, made by Seagull.

Pros: Nice styling, auto movement, exhibition case back.

Cons: Plastic on sides of case, easily scratched bezel, lighter weight, "Kenneth Cole" logo printed on inside of glass, text on complications way too tiny to read even with good eyesight.

This is a good every day watch. It's not a Breitling or Patek Phillipe, but then again it's not near the price.

This watch is pretty unique looking and i get compliments on it everywhere. People think that i have paid 3 to 4 times more than i actually did. The clear back and skeletonish front really shows the inner workings of the watch. It also has a very hefty and quality feel. Where else can you get something that looks so good WITH an automatic movement for this price? Once i got this one, i bought other watches from the same collection, and many of my coworkers jumped on the bandwagon as well. In fact, i like it so much i am back online to purchase a replacement because i broke the other one. It was my fault not the watches. I was walking past something and i slammed the watch into a corner of a metal door. It would have been fine with only a scratch but unfortunately it landed sqaure on the main winding/setting knob and bent it severely. The only reason i rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it didnt keep fabulous time (but then again neither do many auto watches that cost 10 times what this one does!) and sometimes it would go to the wrong date on the date dial. Of course this may be because i only had it for 2 months and it didnt get calibrated as to what month it was yet? Either way i highly recommend it. ~Brando

The watch is not all metal, there is plastic in the middle of the band and some in the dial. This makes it look cheap and not worth the $165 I paid for it. I returned it an am getting a Fossil watch.

This one looks more stylish when seen in hand rather than in the pic - had got it as a gift for one of my friends for his bday - he really liked it :)

This watch is the best watch I've ever owned and I went through a lot of Swiss watches. The mechanism is similar to those found in Swiss knock-offs with the exception that it is an authentic Kenneth Cole watch.

The mechanism, even though Chinese, has the beauty and detail of many highly priced Swiss watches.

I'm glad that I can finally own a nice time piece without going bankrupt.

Only improvement I would have liked is 100m water resistance.

As far as the plastic in the case, it's actually nice since you can see the movement through it.

Bought this piece of wear on September 2008. Time is running at pretty accurate. Overall looking looks good to me. But i found that the 24hrs dial is very difficult to read. Too small. The rest of the dial are also too small. One last thing is that this watch is running by by a CHINA made movement. But the quality is not that bad. Worth to buy.

-The dark central stripe on the watch band is applied sloppily. If you look at the gap between the links, they aren't clean lines. However if not looking between the links, it looks great. Can't tell if you are wearing it.
-The button on the top right (month button) is easy to hit for me, so the month is sometimes wrong because I hit it.
-Kenneth Cole signature too big, on the glass.
?Why isn't the 24Hour dial consistent w/ the other 3? (Black background w/ white numbers)

UPDATE 3/1/10: This watch has broken twice on me. The first time the dial was rotated slightly so Noon actually showed as 11 on the watch. Also, the month setting broke so I couldn't change the month anymore. I sent it in for repair and they fixed it.

The second time, the crystal broke and also the month broke again. I have sent it in and waiting for it to return back from repair.

UPDATE 11/24/10: This watch has broken two more times. The third time the band broke. The fourth time, there are cracks in the plastic around the dials. When I wear the watch, I get condensation on the inside. I can no longer recommend this watch. I am not rough with it, etc. I wear it like an average user.
