This review is from: Kenneth Cole REACTION Women's Shocking Pump (Apparel)
We have all been here ladies, with an important event coming and that beautiful Little Black Dress just waiting for you to come up with the perfect shoes that meet the major criteria, cute, not too expensive, cute, not too high, cute, dressy, cute, something that you can stand in for hours without having to fight the desire to cut your feet off of the end of your legs to stop the pain and did I remember to mention cute? Kenneth Cole Shocking Le fits the bill. Now for the vital information, the shoe seems to run true to size and width. I wear an 8.5 M and have about quarter of an inch left before my toes run out of shoe. And speaking of toes all of mine are sitting NEXT to each other instead of on top of each other looking for breathing room. You are looking at a 3 inch heel at the very tallest part of the heel. The sole is flat with no platform at all and is made of some rubberized material with flowers etched into it. The sole is very pretty even though I don't know when anyone will get to see the flowers because the rubber sole does an excellent job of providing traction on slick floors or icy walkways so the sole will probably always be on the ground instead of in the air with you flat on your back. The shoes have a comfortable cushiony insole which, combined with the rubberized outer sole, allows for many hours of standing without feeling the burn on the balls of your feet. I must say this is one of the few pairs of shoes I have purchased lately which I am not recommending that you add some Dr. Scholl's gel inserts prior to an extended wearing. I purchased the shoes in black and the exterior is made of wonderfully soft matte black leather which is perforated and the shoe is lined with silver leather. The peep toe and top edge of the shoe is trimmed in silver leather and the heel is made of some sort of reflective silver material. A word of caution, for those of you who drive, remember to throw some driving shoes in the car because it would be a shame for those beautiful silver heels to end up with that awful black scuff mark we always get from driving in our heels. All in all, a beautiful shoe but with all of the silver on the shoe you should plan on wearing silver or white gold jewelry. You will truly be noticed on the dance floor with the lights reflecting off your silver heels.
