The leather is made with great quality and looks great, despite being on the larger side. For people like me, who prefers to carry everything in "one shot", instead of a separate computer bag, it can definitely accommodate. However, protection from falls for the computer is non-existent as there isn't much padding at the bottom or sides of the bag. An individual protection case is needed for the computer itself.

Nice briefcase. Stylish (so my wife tells me), sturdy, plenty of room for my computer and a couple other devices and books. I have had no issues with this and am extremely pleased.

My son is very pleased with his business portfolio. The quality is excellent, and the price was terrific!

I chose this bag for my birthday present and I love it. The leather is soft and rich and the design is superb. This gives a real executive look, after all it is a Kenneth Cole.

I'm giving this 2 stars for the style, look and roomy compartments but my disappointment is that the hardware holding the strap on fell apart after one use. I bought this for my son as a christmas gift. He loved it but the first time he used it it fell apart. The good thing is that there is a 5 year warranty. Since it was over 30 days since I purchased it I have to now go through the manufacturer to have it fixed under the warranty. What bothers me is I have to pay to ship it to them and include a $5.00 check so they can ship it back to me after the repair. This bothers me since I paid $175 for the bag. When I tried to speak to actual person at the company, Hertitage, I could only leave a message on a voice mail and no one called me back. I had to access a recording telling me how to ship it back to them. My son likes the bag a lot but not the fact the it fell apart after one use. This one bag may have been defective - but who knows! You're taking a chance if you buy it.

I purchased this briefcase early in the fall semester of my final year of law school and the shoulder strap components broke last week during final exams.

I ordered this briefcase because it can hold two casebooks, my MacBook, supplies, and files. I browsed many briefcases with better durability reputations but insufficient carrying capacity. To be safe, I followed an earlier reviewer's advice and bought Thread Locker to solve this problem. However, I did not notice that the shoulder strap was broken until I hauled the briefcase upstairs to my apartment on a luggage cart with many other items. Thus, I do not know where the shoulder strap connecting rods fell. Now I need to find small metal pieces to replace the connecting rods with before I can try to heed the other reviewer's advice and use my Thread Locker.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU NEED THE CARRYING CAPACITY, CANNOT FIND A SIMILAR MAKE AND MODEL, AND ARE CONFIDENT IN YOUR HANDY-MAN FIX-IT ABILITIES!!!

As with two other reviewers, my case bent at the attachment pins within 1 week of use, with about 4 pounds of weight in it. It has a very poor design where the handle and shoulder strap attaches: the pins that attach these to the main rod are about 1.5 mm in diameter, and are hollow. A simple calculation would likely tell you that they can't hold much weight. It's an attractive case, but by design, it can't do what it's supposed to do (transport your business items).

Have had the bag for almost three weeks. The handle and the strap connections broke off. The screws that are connected to the dowel at the top of the bag are poorly designed and limits the durability of the bag. I would not recommend.

This is a great bag. I can fit my 17" Macbook Pro in it's protective sleeve comfortably in the main compartment...leaving the back compartment free. I have already got a few compliments on it. Very happy!
