I bought this coat when it was on sale for $97. So far I love it! The temp has only gone as low as about 30 degrees, but I think the coat will be plenty warm well below that!

I felt the sizing was very accurate and love the belt in the middle. If you are buying this hoping to remove the belt, I would advise against that. There are 2 large metal grommets where the belt comes out of the body of the coat. You don't really see them when the belt is tied though.

It has a double zipper and tighter cotton cuffs inside the sleeves (so cold air doesn't come up). The only thing I don't really like is the fur on the hood. It looks like human hair. But the hood is removable (although the fur is not removable from the hood) and I plan to wear it without the hood. The collar also comes up and covers the very bottom of my chin if zipped all the way, so you can wear this without a scarf.

I love everything about this coat -- except the SMELL. At first I thought I was imagining it, but no, it remained. I've only had the coat for 3 days, but the dirty, wet dog smell was getting worse as the days went on. Tonight I decided to wash it to see if maybe it was just related to packaging or something. After laundering, the smell was even worse, now more towards dog poop rather than just mangy coat. Seriously it was that bad. I am sending the coat back (thankfully Amazon has a great return policy). Too bad that we are in such a bad cold snap, which was the whole reason that I ordered the coat in the first place, but I'd rather freeze than smell that coat one more minute.

This was my first winter in Chicago and the first time I've had a 'puffy' coat since childhood. I really like this coat. I bought it in black for around $130, which was about half the price it was selling for at department stores. The 3/4 length and the belt make it look nice enough I could wear it to work rather than freeze in a wool coat, so that's nice. It's very warm too and kept me comfortable even on the coldest days. My only complaint is that the double zipper on mine is problematic when you're trying to get it started. I'm not sure if this is standard or just on mine, but it wasn't that much of an inconvenience and no one else could tell, so I just kept the coat.

This is exactly what I hoped it would be. My only comment is that; I wasn't sure if I wanted a medium or large, so I got a large thinking I'd be able to wear it with a heavy sweater underneath. Well, that is not the case. The large fits like I thought the medium would. I have a small wool coat that fits the same as this large, so sizing may be an issue.

The jacket comes just above my knees; I'm about 5'5", or just under, 150#. I can wear jeans and a pull over comfortably under this jacket. I love the high collar and the over sized hood. Other oversized hooded jackets I have are impossible to wear because I can't see around them, but this has a double snap and tie, so it's easy to adjust the hood so that it fits the way I want.

I love the light weight, yet it is as warm or warmer than my heavy wool coat that is much heavier in weight. I love the tie waist and the zipper allows you to unzip from the bottom if you need more leg movement. I also love the cuff inside the sleeve, at the wrist, to keep the cold out and the warmth in. Great long jacket and unbelievable price. One of my best buys from Amazon.

I am just now reviewing this product although I purchased it approximately a year ago (sorry). I really enjoy the coat and it arrived in a timely manner.

The color and feel of this jacket are just great! The fur on the hood is soft and the belt stays in place. There are 2 zippers so you can zip up and then zip the bottom zip up if you need a little leg room when sitting down. Most importantly, this jacket is warm! Highly recommended!

The coat is warm and cute!! But,the feathers/down comes out from time to time! I have gotten a lot of compliments. I have the Black 1 and don't where it with the hood ever.
