Ive played guitar most of my life (I,m 53 years old)and this is something to really learn how to play jazz style blues like a pro. Great transcriptions,easy to follow, good selection of songs from the GREAT Kenny Burrell!! Get this book and go to town.

The two songs I wanted most (Midnight Blue and Chitlins Con Carne) are not in this book as is advertised.

I found this book helpful. I like Kenny because he is not overly fast and technical but more style and taste - good to learn for beginners like I.

Pro - everything is tabbed by Kenny so you know it is correct.

Con - None of the solo's are covered, they are improved. So no tabs on the extra solo's mostly just the core melody.

Over All - worth purchasing to having something different from Wes Montgomery & Joe Pass books.
