A wonderful story about a little boy with a baseball and a bat and how being successful is just a point of view. The book is based on the Kenny Rogers video of the same name. I happened to see it by accident and loved it. I was delighted when the book was published and the CD of the song included with the book is just an added bonus. This book is sure to become a classic.

Adults have so very much to learn from children and this book is yet another lesson. All our lives as we are growing up, we hear things like no, don't do that, you can't possibly, it'll never happen... After hearing so much negative input, we come to adulthood with negative feelings about who we are and what we can accomplish in life.
The little boy in this book teaches us that it is our attitude that makes all the difference in our lives. Not happy? Everything in your life going wrong? Just can't succeed no matter how hard you try? Go back to childhood, my friend. Rediscover the unihibited possibilities in life, the joy, the feeling of I can do anything! The biggest lesson of childhood is that the possibilities in life are limitless - if we believe in ourselves. This book teaches us that lesson simply, beautifully and joyfully. We but need to respond and believe. I would recommend this book to everyone. Best book I've read since "The Polar Express"

I had ordered the book and c.d. the Greatest based on the song by Kenny Rogers. Well the book arrived but NO C.D. so I quickly contacted the seller and he said he did not know why the disc was missing but he no longer had any and he credite my Amazon account
