5.0 out of 5 stars Every Karate Practitioner Should Read This Book, July 21, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Kenpo Karate: The Art of Spontaneity (Paperback)
I met Sascha Williams at the first California Martial Arts Day in 1997 . He was escorting Mrs. Ed Parker to the celebration on the steps of the State Capitol. Sascha gave me a signed copy of the book and since then I have read it three times and told many Kenpo folks about it.

The first two sections are for every Kenpo practitioner and the final section is especially for instructors.

A fine book on American Kenpo continuing the work of the late Ed Parker.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Insights, May 9, 2005
This review is from: Kenpo Karate: The Art of Spontaneity (Paperback)
I too am an actual student of Professor Williams and can attest to his knowledge of American Kenpo Karate. He did learn from Senior Grand Master Ed Parker and is currently a 7th degree black belt. He has more then one Kenpo studio and has been a major contributor for the Long Beach Tournament. Enough in his defense, anyone who reads this book will know with out a doubt the true genius of Professor Williams and the art of American Kenpo.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book from a great teacher, September 26, 2004
This review is from: Kenpo Karate: The Art of Spontaneity (Paperback)
I am an actual student of Professor Willaims and can assure you that the reviewer below has no idea of what they are talking about. The author of this book has been very successful and has owned several schools, so I don't know where they got the idea that he never made it. Also, I don't remember there being any self promotion or any signs of a huge ego within the text. If you would have actually held a conversation with the author, you would have realized how knowledgeable he is on the subject along with many other things.
