I bought this item for my kitchen. I really do like it a lot. It adds the splash of color I was looking for and I like the finish. Do be aware though, that the globes are a thick burgandy color. And they will give off a lot of red light. My kitchen was way to red with the soft incandescent bulbs. I bought the energy-saving flurorescent bulbs (and a higher wattage than I was using previously) and it helped a lot. It also looks like it'll be easy to switch out other globe colors if I want to change it up at some point. So, I do recommend this, just be ready to adjust your bulbs if you don't want a room that really red. And if you do, then this will be perfect for you.

Very surprising that this chandelier is under $300. It's a quality piece and looks fabulous in our kitchen

I ordered the color in the picture but I got blue. I actually kept it bc it looked really cool once installed (my husband didn't know and installed the blue). Overall, it's really trendy and adds a pop of color to my hallway. I am pleased.
