I recently purchased the Kenroy Home 307420RB Plateau Floor Lamp. It is one of the most beautiful lamps I've ever seen. Has a good weight to it and I think it will last for many many years. It seems a bit shorter than most floor lamps but it fits into my room perfectly. I also ordered the matching table lamp and wasn't as happy with that purchase because the metal was welded poorly making the lamp look lop-sided.

I like the style. The packaging was terrible. The packing material disentegrated all over my floor. It arrived damaged. The neck was bent in several places and it took my son and I about three hours to straighten it and put it together. I wanted to send it back but my son insisted on fixing it. I would not recommend to anyone.

I own the six-light chandelier, the pendants, and the ceiling lights from this family of lighting, and this lamp matches the modern craftsman style of our house perfectly. I agree with other reviews that I read that the floor and table lights do not always appear perfectly straight or square, but all in all, they are great. It takes some careful inspecting to notice un-square or un-straight flaws.

First, had I known this lamp was made in China, I would've run screaming in the other direction! As usual, the instructions for assembling this lamp left much to be desired! The instructions said it would take about 15 minutes to assemble; it took me over 2 hours, and I'm pretty handy! The wrench included didn't fit the holes where it was to be used. There was no clue given about how far the posts needed to extend out the bottom in order to tighten the nuts, so quite a bit of my time was spent disassembling and reassembling the lamp to get a proper assembly.

The lamp is not very stable, so should never be in a house with small children who could easily knock it or pull it over.

Note that the picture of the lamp indicates that it's two-toned. NOT!

I guess the lampshade is pretty well made. But, on whole, paying nearly $200 for this lamp is ridiculous! Half that price would be good, but only if it came assembled.

Bottom line, this is the first purchase from amazon.com that disappointed me. I hope they will take it out of their inventory. In my opinion this is a piece of junk!

This lamp matches my decor pefectly. The lamp shade helps the 3-way bulb luminate a perfect glow.

this item came broken also with missing peaces, and i'm not able to return the product because i live in jamaica, DO NOT BUY

I guess you get what you pay for.
This lamp is cheap cheap cheap. The frame is bent and the lamp is crooked. Couldn't bend the metal to make it right. Fortunately, you can't see that its crooked unless you look at it straight on. DON'T BUY IT!
There's a reason why real modern lamps are 5 times the price. You don't get much for $115. I guess I'll use it for a while until I can afford a one of those really nice $500-800 floor lamps from Italy.
