Bought this for my 15.4" notebook, which fits perfectly into the superpadded slot provided for it. The bag isn't as "soft" as it looks in the picture (it's made of stiffer material), but it is very comfortable to carry on the shoulder (extra wide and padded shoulder pad)and it has several compartments for holding personal items, cell phone, MP3 player (w/outlets on either side of the bag for earphones) as well as a book and files, pens, calculator, and notebook cords and accessories, etc. And it's very light and slim for having all that storage space. It's pretty much what I expected and I'm sure it will last for a long time as the materials and construction are solid quality. I highly recommend it for the larger notebooks like mine.

Great laptop and book bag,

I have had this bag for a few months now and it works great. Has all the compartments I need for pens, paper, books, (laptop of course), laptop connection stuff and some other features (music player holder) I have yet to use. The only negative is the strap length. I have been meaning to, but have not yet had time, to take it to a luggage store that fixes luggage. I think they may be able to shorten it. I'm 5'8" which isn't small and yet the shortest I can make it is still too long. Other than that, the bag is great.

Lots of stuff to like about this bag. Good value for the price. Stylish. Simple but effective design. The thing that tipped the scale for me when I was comparison shopping was that it was the only bag that was officially endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association (or whatever they're called) and since I have some back problems I thought I would give it a try. So far I can say it is the best bag for my back that I've ever owned. On the other hand, there are a few things that don't work as well as I'd like. The storage slot for the laptop power cord is too small (and too hard to get in and out of) so I never use it. The velcro strap to hold in the laptop seems to get in the way more than it helps. And for some reason the way that the shoulder straps are attached to the bag makes it so that sometimes it's hard to get your laptop in and out of the bag (of course I have a relatively large laptop). These last few things are minor, but they bring my opinion of the bag down from great to very good.

It can't do much for the weight of a laptop, but it certainly carries very nicely so you're back doesn't constantly hurt. Only weird thing is the pouch intended for power cables is really too small unless it is just the cable. The other pockets make up for it though. It's a good buy, especially if you're in a rainy climate and need something waterproof.

I beat the hell out of this bag every day and it still looks new after 6 months! It has plenty of space for my laptop, PDA phone, handheld GPS, files, checkbook, and office supplies. The pockets fit almost anything. The wire pocket is very convenient.
I like the look of it too. It really holds up in the rain keeping everything dry. It wears quite comfortably for me as well. I love this bag.

I first discovered this bag at a local computer store, but of course found the best price to be on Amazon. This bag is very well organized for your electronics. I love how they created a spot at the very bottom for your power supply and cables, which keeps these clunky items out of the way. The outter pocket also has slots for business cards, pens, USB thumb drives, and more. Because this is located on the outside, it's very easy to get to these frequently needed items. A netted pocket on the inside holds onto more rigid items, such as my notebook locking cable and portable surge protector. The slot for the notebook itself is not quite as padded as I would prefer, so I bought a neoprene notebook sleeve. My Dell Latitude D820 with a 15.4 inch display fits perfectly and snugly in this bags notebook slot (even with the neoprene sleeve I added). The only thing I would have liked to see on this bag is an additional pocket/sleeve for loose papers. But to work around this I just added a standard folder to the internal pocket next to the laptop pocket. The entire bag stays quite slim and retains its shape quite well, but can expand somewhat if you have a lot to carry. The shoulder strap is comfortable, and is easily adjustable to fit your height. One other issue I have found is that the shoulder strap tends to bunch on one of the strap loops - but this is not a major issue. Overall, I am very happy with this notebook bag.

Messanger Bag,
This review is from: Kensington 62905 Contour Cargo Notebook Computer Messenger Bag (Personal Computers)
Great bag! It has lots of useful storage and fits great into the small of my back, thus easing my back strain. The drawback is the power adapter pocket at the bottom is small and is located in the main compartment.

Love it! Lots of room and compartments inside. Comfortable to carry (you can't see the shoulder strap in the picture, but it's padded and comfy), looks good too. Most importantly, my laptop is very protected and I lug it around a lot. Great buy!

I use this to carry my laptop and a text book or two. It works nice and is comfortable.
I am using this with a 12.1" laptop and it is a little big but works. I just cut a small piece of the packaging foam the laptop shipped with to make it a better fit. It would have been nice if the bag came with a few pieces of fabric wrapped foam for this purpose, but oh well. |
