5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent accessory
This bag is fantastic. I bought it before I got the new Pismo PowerBook, because I compared the dimensions and knew it would fit. This is a rather large laptop, so I would imagine that just about any other machine would fit nicely.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fine for light use, thicker laptops
This case looks nice and has plenty of pockets for all the other stuff you have to carry around. But, if you're using it for something other than back and forth to the office or have a thinner laptop, there is just not enough padding in here to protect the computer from scratching and rubbing. We bought this for my son for school this past Fall. He has one of those...

This bag is fantastic. I bought it before I got the new Pismo PowerBook, because I compared the dimensions and knew it would fit. This is a rather large laptop, so I would imagine that just about any other machine would fit nicely.

It's just an excellent product: good materials, sturdy construction, easy to pack alot into it. One main compartment for the machine, an external sleeve, an inside pocket, a pocket for CDs or cables, business card holder and a couple of other pouches. The shoulder strap is comfortable and sturdy.

I checked around with many different vendors, and thought this looked like a good choice. The bag is made entirely from synthetic materials, no leather on this one. And it's a good price. Definitely worth the money if you're looking for a soft, slick bag for a laptop.

Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cost effective, attractive and serving the purpose, October 25, 2001

The pic on this product does no justice to the real thing. Its very good looking (BLACK synthetic with a sheen), and well designed. Isnt one of those huge contraptions that people carry. The hand and shoulder straps have delicious padding !!

Adequate space for a large computer (my dell inspiron fits), a zip drive, cables, some disks, magazines , notes etc.

If your looking to carry bulky files and text books - might not work. Value for money any day.

4.0 out of 5 stars it truly is a good buy, September 23, 2000

when i saw the 2 glowing reviews for this product i was skeptical but i proceeded to purchase it out of necessity. i must say that this bag is an excellent buy. the price is fantastic and the actual bag is worth the money. it is large enough to just fit my sony vaio pcg-430. the inside is padded and there is a compartment in which physical files and documents can be placed and useful zipper pockets in which other paraphanalia can be placed. once closed, the bag is sleek and actually a good-looking accessory for the traveller. i gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because it is a working-class accessory and obviously the higher end carrying cases would prove to be more industrious, elegant, and fun to own.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Bargain, March 21, 2002

I just purchased this bag and think it's great. It's a simple bag with room for the computer, some disks and papers or files. If you are looking to carry text books or larger items with your computer then maybe this isn't the bag for you. I was just looking for an attractive and secure bag to carry my computer in and this bag accomplishes that. It offers good protection with plenty of foam padding to keep the computer safely in place. There is an adjustable piece of padding that allows you to accomodate almost any size laptop computer. Before I made this purchase I did a lot of pricing and really think this is a great deal. In all the stores I shopped in there was no bag to compare with this one at this price. I give it 5 stars for protection and durability.

This case looks nice and has plenty of pockets for all the other stuff you have to carry around. But, if you're using it for something other than back and forth to the office or have a thinner laptop, there is just not enough padding in here to protect the computer from scratching and rubbing. We bought this for my son for school this past Fall. He has one of those thinner laptops and the cover was soon dented and scratched and the constant rubbing of the screen on the touchpad controls left little white marks on the display. While you can blame the computer design some, after we added more padding in the case, we had no more problems. On the plus side, the case is durable - nothing has yet ripped or torn off - and it's easy to spot clean.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Laptop Carrying Case for the Price, December 17, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Kensington Deluxe NoteBook Traveler (64072) (Personal Computers)
This is a great laptop carrying case. I was amazed at how many items this case can accomodate. There is padding inside which helps in shock absorption and you can easily store your removeable drives, CD ROMs, software manuals, and magazines in the pouches. It also has two "feet" for lack of a better term that prevent the case from falling when you place it on the floor. What's even better is that this case is half the price of other similar cases that I've been looking at on the net and in retail stores.

A laptop carrying case is a MUST for people who have laptops and this case is the best bang for your buck!!!

This one is real cool carrying case. Althought the product specifications on the Amazon website do not mention the size of laptops it can carry... it peacefully carries my DELL 15" laptop.

Also being made up of nylon.. its not too heavy and does not add anything to my already bulky laptop's weight.

Must buy at 31 bucks... (TIP: try to get more than 49 bucks of shopping and get this bag at $ 0.00 s&h.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth to buy this case, June 5, 2002
By A Customer

This case is the best that I have ever seen and used. The case can be put a 15.1 inches Sony large laptop. Hard surroundings make a pretty good protection for travelling with the laptop. It is super-undervalued with only [price] for this extremely good quality laptop case!

1.0 out of 5 stars Too small for 16 inch Notebook, January 11, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Kensington Deluxe NoteBook Traveler (64072) (Personal Computers)
I bought this for Sony PCG-GRX670 which has 16.1 inch LCD.
I found this is too small for 16 inch Notebook. Still Amazon recommend this as an accessory for 16 inch LCD notebook. Please double check your LCD size before buying this. I think this should be all right for less than 15 inches. It looks to me nice and strong, but I am sorry for its small size.

I'm very happy with the bag, it exceeded my expectations. My 15" Toshiba satellite fits perfectly, I'm using one of the adjustable paddings to better secure the notebook. It will accomodate thicker laptops, so if yours is really thin, you might want to look for another bag. More than enough compartments for my needs, two big exterior ones for folders or cd's and a few interior ones for your mouse or power supply.

Great value, I sincerely recommend it.
