Great Laptop Bag with a Feminine Touch,
By
This review is from: Kensington K62533US Contour Balance Notebook Roller Bag in Onyx, Fits Most 15-Inch Notebooks (Personal Computers)
I was looking for a rolling laptop bag that looks like a women's tote when carried and was so thrilled to find this one. It looks great and and hold much more than it looks like it would. I love the water bottle holder. There is room for files and notebooks, a small make up bag and purse. Seems very durable too. Please note: there is no shoulder strap as the described.

I finally found a stylish and functional solution! Everyone who sees this wants one. It is small enough to easily manuever but at the same time has plenty of room for all of my stuff. It carries a ton of weight easily and the wheels are large and roll well even over uneven surfaces and curbs. The handle is study and doesn't twist or flex. The side cup holder folds shut and secures with a magnet when not in use. I have never had this bag perform the dreaded side roll or tip while I am walking along. It moves very smoothly and, a huge plus, is super quite even on tiled surfaces. The way it is made it doesn't bump into your legs while you carry it by the double strap handle. I can't think of anything that could be added to this bag to make it any more functional or attractive. I am in love! I am planning to order another one of these just in case they ever stop making them. The price is more than a steal when compared to other bags of MUCH less quality! If you need a rolling bag, buy this one!

I have used a number of computer bags over the years and needed to convert to a wheeled version for ergonomic reasons. I disliked many of the options because they not only looked heavy and industrial but were just stiff and klunky to use. This one is nice looking, light and practical. The pockets are a nice combination for papers and notebooks as well as cords, thicker items that need a bit more space and protection. It's easy to access all of the pockets. I showed up at my office with it(healthcare field) and 3 of my coworkers immediately went and purchased it as well. We could use some other colors so they don't get mixed up. By the way, I took it on vacation recently and it also fits nicely under the seat on planes. I haven't found anything I dislike about it yet.

I had been using an over-the-shoulder bag for years, but my neck and shoulders were really starting to suffer. I didn't want your typical boxy rolling computer bag. I wanted something with a little style. This bag is very sleek looking, and I've already gotten several compliments on it. The design on it is probably a bit too feminine for most men. Aside from style, I wanted a bag that was lightweight. Some of these bags are 10-12 lbs empty, and I just didn't want something like that. This bag is light to begin with, so it's still easy to manage when stuffed with my computer, accessories, files, etc. I also live in NYC and am rolling it over bumpy sidewalks. So far, so good. It seems to be holding up pretty well and rolls easily. The bag has several compartments for all of your items. Several people mention the lack of a shoulder strap. It might be nice to have, but I find that those usually get in the way. The handles make it very easy to pick up if you need to carry it up and down stairs or just carry it for a little while.

After 10 years of work travel, I finally found the right laptop bag. It's very, very light and fits easily into the overhead - even on regional jets. It has a convenient padded area for the laptop that's easy to access when going through security. There are plenty of pockets inside for cords, mouse, etc. There's also plenty of room for files, notepads, etc. The outside cover is durable and the shape and accent print are designed to appeal to the female traveler. The telescoping handle seems sturdy and makes the bag easy to maneuver. The outside pocket for a water bottle is really handy. Simply a great laptop bag!

This is a good-looking feminine bag. I've had it a week - here are my thoughts. Pros: Cute Lots of places to stash small goodies (newspapers, magazines, pens, kleenex) Slim look handle Clear wheels Cons: Handle a bit tricky to extend/put back; wobbly No shoulder strap, no hooks for a strap should you want one A bit on the heavy side for such a small bag (5 lb 5 oz) Not at all quiet on asphalt Magnetic-closed bag straps are about 2-3" too short to allow carrying it comfortably on the shoulder, so not at all sure why the "Air-Flo Contour (TM) Panel" is even there to "dissipate heat and hug the body for greater comfort." This is the biggest reason it lost a star (along with no shoulder strap). It's awkward to carry. The video is simply a quick and dirty look at the bag's configuration: front pocket for pens and stuff with zipper pocket large outside slip magazine pocket larger zippered pocket with divider (same depth as the magazine pocket = 0) main zippered pocket with quilted notebook holder - I put a tape dispenser in the bottom to show the depth available (my laptop is in the bag) bottle holder on the outside with magnets to keep it closed when not in use zippered handle storage zippered back compartment with four elasticized mesh pockets - this is 2-2.5" deep and is divided by the handle smaller outside slip magazine pocket Largest dimensions: 17.75 W x 7.25 D x 14.75 T inches (without straps)

I cannot say enough good things about this little Kensington bag!
I researched for almost a month to find the right bag to accompany me when I travel for work; which is extensively, and this little hunka-hunka bag is my "go to/come with" accessory! The best thing about it is I don't have to think about what I can/can't carry and sacrifice; especially when my packing motto is "I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it." Everything just fits nicely into the various compartments; even my oversized personal media laptop fits with my job laptop so I can carry both and Skype and download pics to my heart's content! Throw in bulky files, a change of clothes, toilettries, lunch, big notebook, laptop/phone/ipod/camera chargers, bottled water and a good book/magazine and I'm ready for the road! Yes, it ALL fits...Yes, at the same time and NO, it doesn't feel like it's bursting at the seams. It's so easy to maneuver and I'm so not worried about banging it onto sidewalks as it's very ruggedly made. Zippers are easy grip, strong and glide very smoothly; no catching on edges or can't find it cause it's hidden in some flap. I can open/close the bag with one hand even in awkward under the seat in-front, behind the driver's seat or overhead compartment positions. Access to the laptop for security clearance is a breeze. No more struggling(unless I'm in a clumsy phase) to get the laptop out and being embarrassed holding up the already impatient line, it just slides in/out and I'm on my way. The expanding handle is very sturdy, stays where I set it and goes up/down without catching or a fight; I can collapse it easily for stairs, security, overhead compartments, boarding planes, entering taxis....get the pic? The bag wheels easily, doesn't show dirt or scratches, can be maneuvered with other bags easily and doesn't quibble when you have to swing it unexpectedly. It just trots along faithfully. I now use it daily for work and I'm in 4" heels everywhere I go so the last thing I want to worry about is my laptop bag being difficult to pull or load up. I cannot tell you how great it is not to have to worry about whether my laptop bag will be a pain to carry. A woman must have designed it to be so conscientious of addressing all the complaints I've ever had about a laptop bag! This is for me and my on/off again planes for 4 connections and 20 hours at a time and taking buses, trains, taxis and climbing stairs everyday lifestyle...the absolute best buy of my business career! It takes the thinking out of traveling with your laptop and I don't have to wonder if my luggage will make it cause the critical stuff is all in the bag! Honestly, I'm getting another one while I still can just in case in a couple of years I need a new one. It is, simply put...a No-Brainer Bag. Guess I could say enough about it after all..oh, there's one more thing ...Get it!!! ;-)

I didn't buy this bag in order to transport a computer. I had rotator cuff surgery, and needed a way to transport my lunch, an ice cuff, and paperwork with one arm. I wanted the lightest rolling bag, backpack, or computer briefcase I could find. I bought this one because empty it weighs 5.5lbs, making it by far the winner. I'm a teacher and after being out a week I had a lot of paperwork which I keep in an expandable file in order to keep it seperated be class periods. This bag is smaller than I expected it to be, but it holds every thing. It has two large pockets inside (one padded to protect a computer). On one side it has two zippered smaller pockets: one is very small to hold keys, thumbdrive, etc., and the other will hold 30ish papers plus my lesson plan book. On the other side it has another large pocket that is divided due to the rolling mechanism (that is where I put my lunch). And, on both sides there is an open "unzipped" pocket to stuff what you want to access quickly. My favorite part is the waterbottle holder on the side. It has magnets that keep it closed tight and out of sight when it is empty. The wheels are nice and big, the handle locks and is sturdy, the zippers have long stylish easy grab tabs, The bottom is covered it a hard plastic, and it sits upright and doesn't tip over. I should've been rolling with this years earlier, and just maybe I could've avoided rotator cuff surgery!!

I have gone through 2 laptop bags in the last 6 months because I am very hard on them. I travel once a month and needed a heavy duty bag so I didn't tear it up. This bag is very heavy duty....I have not even come close to ripping it up. The handle could be a little sturdier but it is pretty sturdy to begin with. Also I would like to see a shoulder strap, but overall this is an awesome bag! The bag is bigger than it appears in the photo. I have no problem packing it out for a trip. I was able to use it more as a overnight bag for this trip. This should last me for years!

This bag is very nice - lightweight, lots of storage and appears to be well made. The best part is it is very stylish. My MacBookPro fits nicely with plenty of room for various cords, cables and office supplies. My only "wish" is that it had velcro closures on the outside pockets formed by the handles. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a rolling laptop bag.
