Now there’s a wireless mouse that’s always ready. The nano receiver is so small, you can plug it in and leave it in. Plus the rugged, rubberized mouse is tough enough to handle anything the road can dish out while maintaining a comfortable, easy to pack, thin profile.
Nano Receiver
The ultra-small nano receiver gives you 2.4 Ghz connectivity without ever having to worry if you remembered to pack your dongle. Its small enough to stay plugged into your notebook even when you travel.

Mouse, perfected.,

This review is from: Kensington K72328US ci95 Wireless Mobile Mouse with Nano Receiver (Personal Computers)
I'm long been a fan of Kensington products, they're like the O'reilly animal books for programming: the great product that really fills the niche. So, I was disappointed when I got an earlier wireless mouse from them, on which the receiver was intermittent. They quickly replaced it with a later model, on which the receiver also was weak.
But this time they've really done it. This mouse is terrific! It works at any reasonable range on any machine. The little nano receiver fits right inside the mouse, so I can pack it up, and it's nice and flat, and fits right in my pocket, and I can use it anywhere. The accuracy is amazing and the look and feel is very nice. I've used 100s of mice, maybe 1000s. I think this is the best mouse ever. No software was required at all. The mouse even has an on off switch which not only saves battery life, but slips over the optical laser sensor, so no pocket lint gets inside. This is absolutely the best mouse ever. It's the mouse equivalent of the Kensington Expert mouse trackball, or better, because it's so portable. I don't know why the other reviewer was having problems, and no I don't work for Kensington, this is just a top notch product. You have to click the mouse button to get it to activate when you plug it into a new machine (not uncommon, maybe this was his problem) Anyway it's a great mouse, and the case is held together with magnets, so it doesn't break apart or lose little plastic snaps. Definitely worth it. This is an awesome mouse.

This review is from: Kensington K72328US ci95 Wireless Mobile Mouse with Nano Receiver (Personal Computers)
The Kensington ci95 Wireless Mobile Mouse with Nano Receiver is a good basic wireless mouse. The price is right and the performance is good enough for most users, though more demanding users may want to step up. In terms of value, this is definitely a pretty good option, and those with smaller hands should find this mouse comfortable enough. I suppose that is the paradox with wireless mice. On the one hand, they are made to be portable, but their smaller size makes them less comfortable to hold than many wired counterparts. I had a similar experience with the Logitech VX Nano Laser Mouse which started to feel rather small for my hand after a while. The Ci95m is a little longer, so I thought it might fit better in my hand. Alas, it is also flatter. While the flat body makes it slightly more sleek and portable than the Vx Nano, it also feels too flat to be cupped in the hand. So both of these mice have their good and bad qualities, but neither of them really meets my needs 100%. The best quality about both of them is the small nano receiver that barely sticks out of the USB port when installed. That feature makes either of these mice ideal for laptop use though either can be used with a desktop. DIFFERENCES VS THE VX NANO PROS: + The Ci95m is priced much better than the Vx Nano - Advantage, Ci95m + The Ci95m takes two AA batteries and the Vx Nano takes two AAA batteries - Advantage, Ci95m + The Ci95m has a flatter design than the Vx Nano that makes it easier to stow and transport - Advantage, Ci95m + The Vx Nano feels lighter than the Ci95m - Advantage, Ci95m + The tiny receiver works great and can be left in your USB port - DRAW CONS: - The Vx Nano has a smoother underside that glides better than the Ci95m - Advantage, Vx Nano - The Vx Nano includes forward, back and scroll function keys and the Ci95m has only the basics - Advantage, Vx Nano - The Vx Nano has a much smoother metal scroll wheel with speed scrolling and the Ci95m has a basic plastic scroll wheel that seems to stick - Advantage, Vx Nano - The Ci95m requires you to remove the top to change the batteries while the Vx Nano has a better compartment on the underside - Advantage, Vx Nano - The Vx Nano includes a travel pouch, while the Ci95m does not - Advantage, Vx Nano - The Vx Nano has higher quality rubber side grips that feel better in the hand than the rubber surround of the Ci95m - Advantage, Vx Nano NEUTRAL = The Vx Nano has a place to store the nano receiver underneath, while the Ci95m does not - Advantage, Vx Nano, but a small advantage; most people will keep the receiver in their USB port = Both units feel better suited for those with smaller hands - Draw CONCLUSION This is a very good mouse with great qualities. There are other options. If you have a larger budget and can live without the small receiver you may want to look into the Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse or the Logitech VX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse instead. Logitech has been adding to their lineup of mice that use the smaller mini USB receiver. That includes the Logitech V450 Nano Cordless Mouse- Black and the Logitech V550 Cordless Laser Mouse, among others. Do your research based upon your budget. Enjoy!

I loved the ci70 mouse. It was a good size for a man's hand. I got over 3 years out of the ci70 mouse. When I looked to replace it, I looked specifically for a similar Kensington mouse. The product description for the ci95 suggests that it has a decent size. Unfortunately, the ci95 is maybe 20% smaller than the ci70, and it doesn't fit as nicely under my palm.
