Not enough privacy
This will only blur the screen from the side. I replaced it with a 3M model that blackens the screen from the side.

Woeful! What privacy?
Complete waste of money. Absolutely useless device. It does not protect privacy. It only somewhat blurs the image. And even to get this effect one should be at very obtuse angle. And on top of this, it introduces glare.

I bought this for my 17inch screen laptop for work. i work long hours and wanted to try and darken the screen to protect my eyes..
It does pretty good at that - reduces the glare for me. As for privacy (which i did not buy the item for) It makes the screen very blurry at certain angles pretty cool doesnt work where i use it though cuz it faces the door directly.. Anyway I only paid 15$ for this but I would not recomend spending 50$ on it - its not worth that much.... It also does not fit my laptop screen - it is way too long and the clips at the top do not stretch all the way acroos... Right now I'm using paper weights to keep it up while letting it lean against the screen - which is ok - im low on money so im ok with it for now.... wouldnt recomend this for laptops though since laptops are not as long as some monitors and this is about an ince or two to long vertically. horizontally it is almost too short with the curves it has in the side - not sure why thoose are there... yep thats all - sorry if this is a long review - im not good at giving short descriptions... |
