On a whim, I decided to buy this for my m505, and I'm sure glad I did. One week after I bought it, I dropped my palm... I mean I dropped it from over 1 story up. I don't even know what the case is tested to, but I thought my palm was toast. Luckily the case was on, and when I turned it on, it fired right up. The case compliments my m505 theme, and it's color... blue and silver.

This is a very durable, compact, hard case for your Palm. The magnetic closure keeps the lid tightly shut without needing a latch. It is very convenient to use your Palm without removing the case. All buttons and stylus are available with the case on. One must remove the case to charge or sync. I recommend this product to anyone needing a strong durable case, while needing a compact form factor.

I recently purchased an M500, and purchased this case to use on it. I use my PDA for paperless geocaching, and need a hard case since I'm taking it out into the outdoors, including rain (since I live in the Pacific Northwet). This case is nice and solid. The closing mechanism is effective, using two magnets to hold it closed. It's also lined with fabric to cushion blows. It also covers the PDA completly, unlike the case for my Palm Vx. However, this means that I cannot access the stylus without opening the case. It also lacks a pocket for a business card, which I have contact info on in case I lose the PDA while in the field. It is useful with several models, as well, unlike the case I have for my Palm Vx, which is why I purchased this one.

At this price, I expected some cheap (fragile?) plastic. This is much higher quality than I expected - I can throw my Palm Pilot in my back pocket w/out worrying about sitting on it. Its safe.

I took a chance and ordered two "Kensington PDA Protector Hard Case Blue Ice" for our two Palm m500s. I've had my m500 for way many years and I wish I had found these cases long ago! I have had a hard protective case before which broke after a short time. My m500 has pretty much been going "naked" since. This Kensington case is awesome, is very simple and looks very nice! It will definitely outlive our m500s I'm sure. If you have an old m500 and no hard case (or a crappy hard case), get this Kensington case asap!

This solves the problem of the M515 turning on inadvertently and draining my battery. Light weight, sturdy, perfect fit for my palm.

Spent about a month and a half mailing back and forth with company to get PDA to work. They "assigned" me to one of their "experts" who informed me that the system would would not work with my system (Windows VISTA). However, I could purchase extra items to use the infra-red option to transfer data. Purchased infra-red (from Best Buy) and it would not work. Called my "expert" and she sent me to a website to download info for using the infra-red. Still didn't work.

After all the hassle, phone calls, emails and being told that I could go in and change the system "rules" on my computer (of which I refuse to do, (don't know enough and would blow up everything) I now have a nice paper weight on my desk.

Make sure when purchasing from this company that youy are purchasing a new item. The PDA I purchased has not been supported by the Manufacturer (Palm) for tha last 3 years as it is obsolete. Ad does not say item was out of service, or would not work with certain operating systems.

I am very happy with this case and use it all the time. I doubt if it will cushion a fall but certainly protects the screen.

The PDA protector arrived before the time I expected, well packaged and in great condition. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.
