Laser tracking and 4-way tilt scroll: The SlimBlade Presenter Mouse delivers exceptional laser tracking on almost any surface. Why is this important? Because you want the movement of your wireless mouse to be as accurate as possible on your computer screen. 4-way tilt scroll allows you to navigate around your screen with ease.

Presentation mode: Easily convert the wireless SlimBlade Presenter Mouse into a presenter with the click of a button. When using the wireless notebook mouse as a presentation device, you can control your presentation from up to 30 feet away. Use the forward and back buttons to navigate through your presentation with ease. Backlight technology will tell you when you can start your presentation

Battery Indicator: An LED battery is located on the top of the mouse. By default, light will be green and will change to red as the battery level is getting low.

Micro receiver: As a wireless mouse, the Kensington SlimBlade Presenter Mouse comes with a micro USB receiver that stores conveniently into the mouse itself. Simply slide the silver band out to remove the micro USB receiver (see image below). Plug into your laptop's USB port, and the USB receiver's compact size will blend into any environment. When stored back into your wireless SlimBlade Presenter Mouse, the USB receiver automatically puts the mouse in sleep mode--extending your battery power.

Compatibility: Universal compatibility allows you to use this mouse with a Mac or a PC. Also certified for Microsoft Windows Vista.

The mouse looks great, the price is right, but the form factor is not great for big hands.

Here is what I like:
Color, Design, and the fact that the wireless transceiver hides inside the mouse and turns it off when you replace it after use. The build quality is solid and it works on both pc's and mac's instantly...without installing any software. The transceiver is small and thus stays out of your way....

Here is what I dis-like:
The mouse being FLAT makes it hard to get a easy comfortable grip...especially if you have big hands and u are used to curved (microsoft type) mice.

Overall I think this deserves 4 stars and a try!!! You may fall in love with it.

Everything, including batteries and drivers (for windows) come in the box. I have not needed the drivers.... The batteries are high quality energizer triple AAA's.

Mouse looks good, and is a slim enougth to slide into a pocket in your laptop bag. The USB transceiver is tiny and hides well inside the moise body when stowed. But, the scroll wheel is shiny and stiff to turn. The only way I can turn the wheel is to lick your finger, like you were counting money. Too bad. There is no thumb back button, but I can live without that. The entire mouse is high gloss, so it can be difficult to grip with dry hands. I am still searching for the perfect mouse.

I'm a college teacher who bought this device to use in the classroom. I agree with many of the previous reviewers who noted the positive points about it: design, functionality, compactness, and ease of use. I also agree that it isn't as easy to hold as a full-size mouse that is contoured to one's hand, but that's not why I bought it. It is perfect for use in the classroom with PowerPoint as it undocks me from the front of the room so I can move in the classroom and see what the students see. The one missing functionality, which I wish I had thought of before buying it, is that it doesn't have a laser pointer, which I would have appreciated.
