5.0 out of 5 stars Best Keyboard Ever
This truly is the neatest thing since sliced bread! No more keys with strange, gunky stuff stuck to their sides. If anything unpleasant begins to accumulate, just wash the keyboard in water and watch as the dirt disappears. The last keyboard I bought had all sorts of bells and whistles, and I loathed it. 2.0 out of 5 stars Beware of right shift key.
If you are a touch typist, be aware that the right shift key is so far over on the right that you can't reach it without removing your hand from the keys. This was unacceptable to me and I returned the keyboard.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Keyboard Ever, December 27, 2009

This truly is the neatest thing since sliced bread! No more keys with strange, gunky stuff stuck to their sides. If anything unpleasant begins to accumulate, just wash the keyboard in water and watch as the dirt disappears. The last keyboard I bought had all sorts of bells and whistles, and I loathed it. I was forever accidentally hitting buttons on the sides that would put my computer to sleep or mute it or do other unwelcome things. The letters wore off the keys in no time. The crud on the keys was resistant to all cleaning efforts. I was always worried I would somehow damage the board if liquid dripped between the keys. This keyboard is wonderful! The letters are still clear. It pulls no surprises. And it's washable! Not only that: try finding a white keyboard these days. It isn't easy. I couldn't give this device a higher recommendation!

The washable regular keyboard is a wonderful idea, I've been wishing for this for a long time, especially for kids use.
I would like an option WITHOUT the antimicrobial chemicals, as these are not doing us or our environment any favors...quite the opposite.
I bought 2 of these, and neither would work on our older Dells w/winXP using the PS2 adapter. I called Kensington, who in my experience has had very good customer support, and they sent out new and slightly different adapters, but these did not work either.
Conclusion, the keyboard may only work with USB, even though it comes with the adapter and claims it works with PS2.
If anyone knows why the PS2 adapter doesn't work, please tell!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very poor design!, October 18, 2011

I purchased 4 Kensington keyboards in the past and love them. This time I bought 2 of the white keyboards and found that they are useless. The reason is: for some reason they made the left hand shift key smaller by inserting the backslash key in place of the usual location of the shift key. The shift key is now one place to the right. For me, the keyboards are useless!

4.0 out of 5 stars shift stretch, April 30, 2010

I like the keyboard except for the fact that the right shift key is a stretch for the right pinky. Most keyboards have the :\ key above the enter key allowing for a larger right shift key. This one has the :\key where I am used to having the right shift key.
