I received this keyboard case for Christmas, great addition to my iPad 2. It's a really nice keyboard, and it's so much easier than typing on the iPad screen itself, but the weird thing is, the brand isn't actually Kensington... I know the keyboard was ordered from this link exactly, but on the keyboard case I have, it says "NEW Trent" instead of "Kensington" like on the pictures in this ad. The keyboard looks exactly the same, and I mean EXACTLY. Well, that's not really a problem. This is a really cool accessory to have. There are probably actually ten or so possible positions to put your iPad in with this case, because you can spin it every which way and the hinged arm flips 180 degress. The circle onto which the iPad is attached hinges about 150 degrees, in addition to spinning 360 degrees. The keyboard slides out to reveal 3 notches (as opposed to four like the description says) which are rubber and provide nice traction for your iPad to rest in. The keyboard is a bit small and takes some getting used to, but now when I type on my Macbook Pro, that keyboard seems abnormally large. There are some nice features on the keyboard, too, like a home button, brightness controls, a button that triggers the photo frame feature on the iPad, music controls (stop, play/pause, next, previous), volume controls and mute, and a lock button. The arrow keys are also quite handy. The actual shell that the iPad is in removes from the keyboard, so you can easily detatch it if you want to play games or something. Another cool thing that isn't mentioned in the description is that when you close the case like a laptop, the iPad automatically goes to sleep. It also automatically wakes up when you open the case. Also, the little compartment that the charging cable comes in is nifty too; I keep my iPad USB cable, the keyboard USB cable, my earphones, and occasionally my stylus inside of it. The case overall seems really sturdy, I would strongly recommend this to anyone who has an iPad 2.

I just received the iPad case with keyboard and am returning it. It is flimsy, does not hold the iPad securely (keeps sliding out of the case when the screen is propped up, and the keyboard is small and seems cheaply made. It is difficult to use on my lap, as the top wobbles and does not hold the iPad securely.

I really like this case and keyboard. The keyboard is smaller than the other Kensington keyboards but works well once you get used to it. I actually broke my case the second week because I stressed the connector arm where circle connector is.. My fault and not the case. Called Kensington to order a replacement arm and they said it should not break and they are sending a new case for free. Great support on thier part. My only issue is that autocorrect seems to work a bit differently with this keyboard. It will not suggest corrections and I have to tap the word. Doesn't do it with all programs. Have noticed it with email and quick office app. Anyone else having this issue? I am unable to find any info on this behavior.

Answering emails is a breeze with the blue tooth keyboard. The keyboard is easy to use and has a nice feel. The exterior is sturdy and good protection for travel. Absolutely wonderful for watching movies and reading books. The iPad is heavier than an kindle and gets heavy after a bit. A great addition to an iPad.

I love this product The case is protective of the ipad. The three positions that you can use makes it usable in most situations. The keyboard stays charged for a very long time. All in all this makes it easier to do everyting on the ipad.

We bought 2 of these for Christmas 2011. Here it is August 16, 2012 and the display cover fatigued and snapped off of both of them.

Because of the poor quality, it overshadows its other benefits. Therefore, I can't recommend it.

Epilogue: While the quality of the product was poor, I must admit that I was impressed with the responsiveness and integrity of the company that made it. When I spoke to them they replaced both of these with higher quality products. The replacement products have held up wonderfully as of today's date (1/1/2014). Bottom line: while the initial product quality was poor, the replacement was very good and company is one of high integrity.

The Kensington iPad case with Wireless Bluetooth Keypad is a versatile product. I love the keyboard although it is a little difficult to type if you have large hands. The landscape or portrait positioning of the ipad is great! Case is durable and I never have to worry about dropping and damaging my iPad.

I had purchase an early version of a Kensington for my wife who has a iPad and when I bought an iPad 2 I figured on another Kensington but wanted this one with additional angles to view the iPad. Viewing my iPad was not a problem. However, I found the case to clumsy to handle and it seemed more like plastic. The biggest problem I had was with the keyboard keys itself as they were TOO SMALL for my figures and the keyboard itself was smaller that the first one I bought. So, I returned it and bought a TYPad TY-109. Even though it doesn't have the versatility to use the ipad in portrait mode, I love it. It has a more quality feel for it and was well worth the money.
