I was doubtful that I could get a bag for $15 including shipping that would meet my standards. This bag was a very pleasant surprise. The stitching, materials and overall design are top notch. It does not have all the little pockets that something like the CaseCrown messenger bag has but it has enough for my needs. The outside zip pocket is perfect for a wallet and cell phone - there's a little sewn in pocket and strap for the phone. Inside the main compartment there's a well padded slot for an iPad or netbook. The size is large enough to accomodate an iPad inside the case I bought for it. The central compartment is large enough for a good sized book and the zipped compartment on the side away from the iPad pocket is a great place to store a screen wiping cloth with lots of room to spare.

The sling pack design is perfect for my life style. I can just swing it around, zip open the external pocket and have my wallet or cell phone out in seconds. The velcro strap holds the iPad in place so it won't fall out if I accidentally flop the bag upside down when the main compartment is open. The padding seems thick enough - I just heave it into the car without any concerns.

Perhaps I'm paranoid but I also like the way I can tuck the zipper tab in on the back pocket so that it's not hanging free. When I'm mingling in crowds I don't want somebody coming up from behind and taking my wallet. Having the zipper tab tucked in adds five or ten seconds to the time it would take for a thief to open the compartment. Plenty long enough to deliver an elbow jab to the side of his head.

The strap adjustment mechanism is simple and elegant. I'm 6'1" and I have the strap at maximum length. It only takes a second to adjust it with the velcro tabs.

The overall look is clean and crisp - it's minimalist/industrial like the iPad. The size is the same width but not quite as tall as the CaseCrown messenger bag but it feels a lot smaller. I think that's because it's slung onto my back rather than hanging from my side.

The material is black backpack polyester (or possibly ripstop nylon) with a non-reflective surface. The inside is shiny black polyester. All stitching is even. Workmanship is excellent.

The only thing I would add to make this perfect is a hand grip at the top. There is a hanging loop but it's too small for holding the bag comfortably. I may sew one on.

The sling bag design is perfect for a device such as the iPad. In shopping for other iPad carry bags, one of the things that concerned me the most was "bounce." Most traditional over-the-shoulder bags, even if they secure the iPad within the bag itself, allow the bag to hang loosely at the side. As the user walks, the bag tends to bounce against the body, which is not good for an electronic device. The design of the sling bag, however, tends to hold the bag against the body, and can even easily be kept in place with one arm. In addition, the Kensington bag is well-crafted, with several extra zippered pouches and pockets for pens, keys, wallets, etc. The bag itself is large enough to hold magazines or pads of letter-sized paper. The strap is Velcro-adjustable and is sewn to the bag rather than attached by clasps. It's a light, comfortable, sturdy bag and I love it.

I bought this bag based on the price and the size. It is both worth it if you want something small and inexpensive. So far the only complaint I have is that it tends to dig into my neck. I am unable to adjust the strap to a point where it sits comfortably on my shoulder without sliding into my neck. This isn't too much of an issue since it can't carry enough to make it heavy, just annoying.

It isn't quite large enough to fit a standard sized page (8.5x11) without curling the corners slightly. The iPad padded sleeve is a nice fit and it even has a little pocket in the outer zipper to hold a phone as well. It won't hold too much more than that so be aware of that.
