Having been a fan of Kent for some time now, Box is no mystery. Box is a complete collection of everything Kent has produced from their self-titled "Kent" to the recent release "Tillbaka Till Samtiden". This collection is not really for the long-time fan who already has all of Kent's releases (like me). It does however present a unique opportunity to get your hands on Kent's more obscure B-sides and special releases that are next to impossible to get any other way. These tracks are surprisingly good, a Kent trade-mark and a must-get for the hard-core Kent fan. Expensive, but still probably cheaper (and much easier) than trying to get your hands on the original singles. It's also a great way for someone new to Kent to get the entire collection.

The box set is excellent. I like having all the albums neatly in a box. It is a great compilation set for someone who does not already own all of Kents albums. Like many bands, they have created different types of music at different points in their careers (all good).

Two points I found to be valuable for prospective buyers:

1) The CD's do not come in the conventional plastic CD cases. They come in paper sleeves. I personally like having the plastic CD cases rather than the paper sleeves, but the sleeves do allow for the Box to be lighter. They also are more compact and therefore take up less room.

2) It contains no English CD's. They are all Swedish.

In the United States, I found it very difficult to find any albums by Kent in any music store, some only carried Vapen & Ammunition others didn't carry any at all and Best Buy, the most known and prominent one only carried a couple online, not in stores. This is how I purchased 2 CD's prior from learning about the Box's existence.

Before the Box, I purchased CD's through Best Buy online, which I do not recommend.

I also purchased CD's and EP's through itunes, which I also don't recommend unless you want English songs, then that's the most convenient way.

I don't recommend Best Buy because when calculating the math the Box on Amazon was the best choice for their Swedish music.

For itunes, I personally would rather have a tangible CD than a downloadable audio CD.
