I purchased this flour at the commissary and was a little skeptical since it was pre-seasoned....I thought it might be too salty, but BOY WAS I WRONG!!! It is the best I've ever tried on chicken, pork chops, and I even made fried okra with it and it was the best ever! I'm glad Amazon stocks this item just in case we ever have to move, I'll know I can always get it here!

I always keep Kentucky Kernel Seasoned flour on hand. It's great with Chicken, Pork, and try some deep fried pickles with it! Highly recommended. I agree with previous comments, everyone asks what seasoning the food was cooked with. Get it...but don't buy all, save some for me.

I am so glad I can buy this online. My daughter doesn't like the chicken I make unless it's made with this flour. It's the best. My local Walmart has stopped stocking this item,Their mistake! It flys off the shelves.

I use this seasoned flour all the time. Its great for fried pork chops or fried chicken. It has just enough spice to add flavor but its not overpowering. I have to buy it here because its not offered in my local stores.

In addition to being a great product for frying chicken, Kentucky Kernel is perhaps the best product you will ever use for fixin' a proper Southern Biscuits & Sausage Gravy breakfast. Without going into the details of a Sausage Gravy recipe, (everyone has their own), suffice to say when you prepare your roux with Kentucky Kernel instead of plain flour, I promise you'll be positively *amazed* at the result.

Getting hard to find in the stores, I'm very glad Amazon's got it. No pantry is complete without Kentucky Kernel!

The first thing I have to ask is, "Who in the world is paying $5 for this mix?" I discovered it today in my local Stop and Shop and it was only $1.99 here in New Jersey.

That being said, I have pretty much always used just flour, seasoned salt and other seasonings to fry chicken, pork chops and such and that's worked for years. But I am so glad I found this seasoning. I wanted to duplicate a pork chop recipe I had at a restaurant where the pork chops were fried and then served with sauteed onions and jalapeno peppers. Well, it was just delicious. I repeat, DELICIOUS.

If you're lucky enough to find this mix for less than the $5 it's listed at here, lucky for you. But at any price, it really is a truly marvelous seasoning mix to use for fried foods. And I agree with the others; it's not too salty at all. It's just perfect. Use the pan drippings for a gravy and you've got a tasty meal in a snap!

You can use this to coat fish, chicken, pork and beef. Can fry or use to bake meats, or thicken stews or gravy. Its Delicious !

My mother loves this brand of seasoned flour for chicken in our household. My major problem is that this product is hard to find in Central Jersey. It's reasonably priced and is better than any of the other products out there on the market.

Too bad that it's hard to find product that you may not be able to find at the local grocery store or supermarket. My neighborhood store was carrying it for years but stopped all of a sudden. Granted, it's worth going out of the way to get it for your chicken or pork or whatever you would like to fry. I'm thinking of fried pickle dills and how it would go good with it.

Please spread the word around about Kentucky Kernel Seasoned Flour, it deserves praise, recognition, and success.

Great on Fish and Chicken. I don't eat much Fried foods but when I do, I will always reach for the Kernel.

I love the product but also love 2 different seasoned salt itemsHerbamare Original (1Kg=2.2LB) Brand: Vogel or A. Vogel Herbamare Herb Seasoning Salt, Organic, 35.3-Ounce Container plus a Sazon and together they're too salty so I solve that by mixing half of this and half of some Bob's Red Mill GF flour. Less wheat for the allergic and no salt, that way I get to introduce other spicing to this and do my own flavor. I flour everything with this and yes indeed it flies off the shelves at Netgrocer too so I am so glad Amazon has it and in the bigger box.
