I love this cookbook. I buy it for every wedding shower I attend. Not only do I have it but so does all of my sisters and sister-in-laws and best friends and mother-in-law. When we get together for family dinners somebody will grab it and turn to a recipe and comment on if it was good and if there was any changes made. My copy is falling apart and has been written in for 20 years now. There are no fancy pictures and is written very simple and most of the recipes are easy and you will usually have all the ingredients on hand. It is the first cookbook I grab when in a hurry to fix supper. I am now buying a copy to put back for my daughter and future daughter-in-law. Someday my grandchildren will fight for my copy..It has everybodys favorites already marked! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I bought me and my sister each a copy of this cookbook at least 10 years ago. When I was at her house last Thanksgiving she had it out using it. The cover was half gone and pages were taped back in the book. I told her that she must like it and she said "I use it all the time. I've had it so long that I can't even remember where I got it". Proudly I told her it was me that gave it to her and she said she wished she could get another one because her's was falling apart. A few days later I got on the internet and bought one for her for Christmas. Now six months later my other sister out of the blue told me about this cookbook that our other sister, Janie, has and she wants one. So here I am again, buying my other sister one. I bought the original books when they first came out and the girls from the telephone office were selling them for $7 or $8. It is a great cookbook.
