Take out that cassette player and replace it with a CD receiver. The affordable KDC-116S by Kenwood provides 45 watts x 4 peak power and System Q sound control. It can play back CD-R and CD-RW discs, as well as pre-recorded CDs. Plus, the CR-2 tuner can bring in even those distant stations.
